4 out of 5 eggsGreat somewhat simple mount....

Pros: Nothing much to assemble, two pieces. One for wall, one for TV.
Plenty of extra hardware (see cons)
Sturdy, well made.

Cons: The kit came with plenty of hardware for different TVs. But it still didn't have everything I needed for the TV that I got with it as a combo deal (ChangHong 50"). The short bolts were too short, the long too long. Long spacers included were too long, short ones didn't fit the bolts. I ended up using 4 nuts that slid over the bolts as spacers, and all was fine. Only 1 egg off for that, might not apply to you.

Other Thoughts: Overall, very satisfied with this mount. Tilt works well, simple mounting system, easy to install (as can be expected). Plenty of hardware left over to add to my assortment. Comes with magntic level, which was nice.
Newegg as usual is FAST... got the mount and TV two days after ordering it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome unit

Pros: Well constructed. Solid. Not cheesy at all.

The hook part of the TV mounting bracket (not the wall part) is sleeved in plastic. Nice. This means no metal to metal contact (between wall and TV brackets) and you can slide the TV left to right (at least several inches in my situation) after it is completely mounted. That makes centering the TV a very easy thing to do after the fact. Why? Because of stud lay-out, the wall bracket may not center where you want it to.

Well packaged. I like the fact that they used a hardcore-type egg container-like material instead of Styrofoam. Makes recycling the packaging a good option.

Mounting hardware is complete with all the screws, nuts, bolts and washers you need.
Mounting to wall is straight forward and not too complicated. Will require some pre-calculation so the TV winds up close to where you want it height-wise.

Tilt mechanism works excellent. I found it a good idea to slightly tilt the TV downward to help take away some of the glare from lights or windows.

Comes with these security locking tabs. Once those are swung into place you can actually use a padlock to lock the TV to the wall bracket. Nice feature.

Price is very reasonable for how well constructed this unit is. (Forty dineros)

Cons: A little too far off the wall for my taste (3.5" from wall to back of TV) but the reason for that is the tilt mechanism takes up space in the bracket. That would be normal so I guess not really a con.

Made in that ubiquitous far east place we all love so much. Too bad. But what the hey is a guy gonna do?

Other Thoughts: I own a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV. Model #TC-P42S1

I am a finish carpenter. I have installed tons of fixtures in houses. Towel bars, TP holders, ceiling fans, cabinets, etc., anything on the finish end of house construction. This was my first tilting TV mounting job. It's gonna take you a while to get the job done. Set aside a couple hours at least. If you did the same installation day-in and day-out you could do it in minutes. Don't rush it. Get those wall brackets mounted to those studs. They provide 6- 2.5" lag bolts with a 1/2" hex head. I used 4. If for some reason you can only use 2 then you better make sure you use a gnarly wall fastener for the other 2. My TV weighs 60 pounds. With those 4 lag bolts bolted into studs, I could hang my refrigerator off it. They key, however, is getting that wall bracket snug as bug against the wall. Too loose, no bueno. Too tight?.....well.......you don't want the lags stripping out in the studs either.

First, I had to figure out how I was going to mount the TV brackets onto the back of the TV using the included spacer washers. In my case, I only needed about 3/16" worth of spacers because of the mounting threads being that much recessed from the actual backside of the TV. So I just used 2 washers to build up the space for each threaded insert (8 total). That brought the brackets up flush so they wouldn't push into the back of the TV while being bolted into place. The included spacers are 15/16" tall. That would have meant my TV would stand proud of the wall about another 3/4". I felt the dang thing was already too far off the wall.

Now about the manual. The manual wants you to install the wall bracket first and then mount the TV brackets to the TV.
I found it much wiser to mount your brackets on the TV first. That makes it easier to measure where the wall bracket needs to go as far as the height is concerned.

Overall, I am very pleased with this wall-mounting bracket system. Almost shocked that it was this well built considering where it came from. I am not easy to please because I have installed so much weird cheesy stuff over the years. I know a quality unit when I work with it.

Considering the quality, solid construction, and price of this unit I would highly recommend it to anyone. If the president called me up.......I would recommend it to him too. No question.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST Mount for the Price!

Pros: VERY Sturdy design; hardware included.

Nothing to assemble.....just mount it on the wall & you are good to go.

I mounted a heavy 55" and it is holding it with easy; very confident it can hold ANY 55" or smaller TV

Cons: Level included isn't accurate (use your own level for mounting)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This TV mount is fantastic.

Easy enough to put up without help. Adjusting left to right after installing the mount is very easy....the TV just sort of glides on the rails.

The metal frame doesn't seem thin like most other mounts I've looked at. The rails are massive, I have absolutely no worries about the TV. My 47" has absolutely no wobble.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsEasy

Pros: This was easy to mount. The tilt is enough for many viewing angles. There is enough clearance from the wall for standard HDMI cables to connect to the TV/Monitor.

Cons: The included level was useless in my kit. I decided to use a laser level and protractor to check for level against the tool included and found a difference of about 2 degrees! That may not be for every kit, of course. Maybe my level was poorly manufactured, but it is something to consider when mounting the kit.

4 out of 5 eggsWall mount

Pros: Price if on (sale) comes with all needed parts even a level that I thought was great the last time I put in a walll mount only thing I could not locate was my level so it is a nice that it came with one. I was not aware that Rosewill even made this type of product very solid and good quality eventhough made in china but what is not these days :(
installation easy.

Cons: Made in china but what is not these days :(

Other Thoughts: Sale price at time of review is a great buy. At full price I would not purchase just my opinion Im cheap. Also please
make sure you tv size weight is within spec if your tv is not and you purchase anyway hoping it would fit and it does not you can only be upset with yourself..Besides that its a tv wall mount not much more to review

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Constuction, Great Value

Pros: Rosewill has a wide assortment of product lines. From my experience with a number of them, Rosewill is a quality brand. This Rosewill wall mount is no exception. Upon first examination I noticed that this mount is built to last. It is seriously heavy duty for a low cost wall mount. All metal construction. It fits from 37 inch to 55 inch flat screen LCD/Plasma/LED style TVs up to 180 lbs. When you look at it you can see that when they say it can hold up to 180 lbs., they mean it.
Installation is really quite easy. Depending on your set up, they supply you with most of the components you'll need for installation. They recommend that you use a stud finder for proper placement of your screws so that the mount will hold securely. You can also mount it on a concrete surface. You're gonna want a drill driver with the correct type and size of bits depending on your application and either a Phillips bit for your drill driver or a Phillips head screw driver. They also provide a level for ensuring your TV gets hung at the appropriate level.
Once you've got your mount secured to your wall use the remaining brackets and fix them to the back of your TV. The TV brackets have a useful and interesting feature. A metal stopper that acts as a lock bar to hold your TV in place once you've mounted it to the wall. Rosewill suggests that you use a padlock to hold the lock bar in place, but a simple ziptie will suffice. That's what I did.
A feature that Rosewill obviously paid attention to is the tilt. The tension knob for the tilt has a very nice metal grip. So you can put some force on it to keep it in place without having to worry about breaking it.

Cons: The only thing I wish this mount would have had would be the ability to tilt left and right as well as up and down.

Other Thoughts: For the price of this mount you really can't go wrong. For other mounts in the this price range you're not going to get the quality construction and features that Rosewill offers with this one. On my old mount the tilt function had a cheap plastic tension knob that would not stay where it I wanted it no matter what and my TV didn't even approach the weight limit for that mount. So I had to use a set of zipties to keep it from dangling at an extreme angle. I'm glad to be done with that. I rarely give out 5 Eggs on reviews. I couldn't find any faults with this item, I'm very pleased with it.
Most people spend a pretty penny on their TV sets, so if you're planning to go with a wall mount do yourself a favor and get one that will protect your investment. Have a look at the pics up above, you can see that this thing is built to last.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: This was by far and away one of the nicest mounts I have ever used. I recently used one from another company that was highly rated, but this one honestly was much better. For starters it looked better, felt more sturdy once mounted, and included all the parts I needed to mount the TV. The other one required me to get the proper bolts. After it was installed on the wall I mounted the TV on it and got it into position using the handles on the side. The other mount only tightened with some very hard to reach handles on the inside of the mount behind the TV.

Cons: The only con I would say is that in my case I wanted to mount a 32 TV, but I had to get a 37 inch instead which was a bit more money. Not the mount's fault, but it just wasn't convenient in my situation.

Other Thoughts: I'm a little delayed at writing this review because I have been saving this to put in a space center for kids that I helped build and I wanted to use this mount for on of the TVs. It worked out great. Usually I write more but really there's not much to say on this one. It did what it was supposed to and works great. For the price ($50) you can't go wrong!
