4 out of 5 eggsDecent all-purpose Light

Pros: Good beam that's adjustable with bonus of being able to use on one's bicycle.

Cons: Uses 3 AAA batteries, supposed to also use 18650 (3.7v) but doesn't work the modes quite right.

Other Thoughts: Standard 1.5v AAA starts @ 1.65v 3 x 1.65v = 4.95v
Lithium AAA starts @ 1.8v 3 x 1.8v = 5.4v
18650 3.7v battery starts @ 4.3v

See how the numbers fall?

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD & RUGGED

Pros: I bought 2 of these many months ago for my bike. They are bright. They've gone on many bike trips on not so great trails & kept on working while providing good lighting.. They've been dropped several times when I was using them for other tasks.
Now I'm buying some more because the others have gone to my tool box, vehicles & "borrowed".

Cons: A bit expensive if not on sale. Family & friends "borrow" them.

Other Thoughts: Similar aluminum case LED flashlights run for the regular price & are not as bright.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Well made, smooth zooming, versatile dual power plant options of either triple AAAs or 18650. Adequate illuminations using unprotected flat top (salvaged from lappy battery pack) for pre-dawn & after dusk ride ride. Strobe mode is great for daylight use.

Cons: Bulkier & heavier than my triple AAAs Blackburn plastic headlamp - its a trade-off for better illumination.

Other Thoughts: Will probably (eyeball estimation) accommodate up to 70mm protected cell, but untested. Thirteen clams.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat flashlight!

Pros: I ride 20 miles home at night, and this is a great buy. Very bright, and adjustable lens, solid construction. The bracket keeps it in place and doesn't allow the light to shake on rough surfaces, so you can see where you're going even through bumps. Best bang for the buck, and a great product!
Comes with a carrying case!

Cons: none!

5 out of 5 eggsMini Torch!

Pros: Best i've found so far at this price. Before finding this one at "the eGG" of aLL pLaces, i scoured LocaL hardware & gun stores Looking for a high output & affordabLe bike Light. Out here in the wAsteLand, riding at night, (especiaLLy a moonLess one) is freeKin' dangerous!

Cons: Missed the saLe ($19) by a day, but the product is quaLity to be sure!

Other Thoughts: Wasn't sure how weLL i Liked the switch: Hi-Off-Med-Off-Low-Off-Strobe-Off-S.O.S.-Off. But with this output @ this price point, i'LL work with it! Bracket is neat, but i don't see it surviving the wAsteLand & my riding styLe. Custom made metaL tubes with set screws hoLd my Lights cLose to the ground for better visibiLIty & as a courtesy to drivers..

5 out of 5 eggsCycling Light

Pros: Flashlight is of excellent quality. 3 settings for brightness plus a strobe and SOS feature. Nice and heavy in your hand -- it feels strong. Stand keeps the beam rigid while riding and can be easily adjusted while moving to keep the beam on the trail. Enough light for me and a riding partner.

Cons: Allen screw for tightening the stand is plastic, not metal. Although little tension is required, I could foresee stripping the threads or even shearing the head off rather easily.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice to have at least an aluminum screw to match the quality of the light.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome. I recommend the Lithium battery, however

Pros: Incredible little flashlight, that is packaged with several useful accessories. I appreciate the easy to use variable light throw or spread--essentially, you are able to easily alter the light beam's angle, which in-turn, increases the the luminosity (how bright the light appears) at its focal point.

Additionally, and the reason I purchased two--one for my wife's purse--for protection, and another for home use. Experts recommend using a small flashlight, with a luminosity of a minimum of 200 lumen (this flashlight produces 50% more: 300 lumen) as a safety device--due to the fact that, it blinds the attacker--long enough to flee.

3AAA or Lithium-ion battery. The flashlight allows the use of a Li-ion battery (not included). I picked-up four rechargeable Li-ion batteries on @mazon, which work very well, and each stores 4000mAh of juice, which lasts a long-time; each flashlight is still on its first charge, and the home flashlight is used almost daily--I use it for electronics work. The batteries (and charger) were inexpensive and worth the extra charge--I believe four batteries and one two-battery, per charge, charger were less than one flashlight.

I was uncertain what to expect, but I did not expect this quality and value. My wife even goes for the flashlight in her purse, which is a miracle (try asking her to put your mobile phone in her purse!).

Cons: The only one that I am able to think-of, isn't price--this is a great value--but size! HOWEVER, keep in mind that, I looked for more than a year for a small flashlight--that fits in her purse and my pocket--and allows a long-lasting Li-ion battery as its power supply, which does NOT break the bank.

This is the first flashlight that I could find that met all the important factors (including price, because others exist, but not at this price); and again, the size is quite reasonable--at the very least, in my estimation.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget the cool accessories--for your belt, carabiner, bike, carrying pouch (belt and carabiner).

I hope this helps!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent light, best in class

Pros: For this tiny compact size that can fit in your pocket, you get a bright light better than most flashlights that are 5x its size.

Cons: Plug threads on the end aren't machined well/fit together easily and it feels like they will wear down soon after repeated battery changing.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product

Pros: A very bright light that's well controlled. There are multiple light modes that save power, signal for help, and the flashing mode is particularly helpful when riding at night. The bicycle bracket holds the light securely. The flashlight seems well made and durable. Lastly, the light is an excellent value!

Cons: Like many flashlights of this caliber, it takes 3-AAA batteries. I use rechargables and my charger only works with multiples of paired batteries. My desire is to have a similar flashlight that operates on 2-AA's.

Other Thoughts: Only time will tell whether the switch and bulb are as durable as the rest of the light.
