5 out of 5 eggsBright

Pros: This is almost too bright. I went backcountry camping and took this. I couldn't test the 800m distance because the beam through the air was blocking me seeing anything past 400m. If it was less humid and less particles/bugs in the air I wouldn't doubt that 800m was possible.

Even on the lowest setting it is the brightest flashlight I have ever owned.

Seems like a decent build, wouldn't want to try to hammer a nail with it, but it could probably do it a few times.

Battery is amazing for how bright it is. My dad's flashlight which has a max output of 300lm doesn't last as long on high than this. His has a really low setting that lasts for days, but it basically useless.

Cons: Would be nice to have more levels of brightness. Having 5 plus strobe and sos would be ideal. At least one more that you could use as a light to read a book without burning your retinas would be nice. The lowest setting of 100lm is too bright to read a book at very close range. In my bedroom I can read a book from the light of the lowest setting bouncing off the far wall, to the wall behind me, and onto the book.

Other Thoughts: If you can get it on sale, it is completely worth it. I would never buy it full price mostly because I can't justify spending that much money on a flashlight. But it is a good price compared to other flashlights in the same output and battery categories.

4 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Good weight in hands.
5 modes easily switchable.
Last mode memory.
SINGLE 18650 battery.
Built in charger.
Weatherproof.
Thick Walled construction.
wrist lanyard.

Cons: Its a bit large for a single 18650 unit.
Included battery is a cheap/unknown brand to me.
lens cap difficult to remove.

Other Thoughts: I have only had it for less than a day at this point but so far I am impressed with this unit. It IS rather on the large side for a single 18650 battery unit IMHO, but it has a good heft and feel to it as a result. It feels very well constructed and has a 1/8" or 3mm wall thickens, so it should be able to take quite a beating. The tooling on the body of the unit IS rather chunky but still understated enough to be attractive and still keep the unit cool ( i hope) durring long periods of operation.

The 5 mode selector works well, you turn it on with a full click and change modes with a 1/2 press, and it remembers the last mode it was on when you had it on last and no amount of turning it on and off in quick succession will make it 'forget' what mode it was in last like some other high lumen units i have had in the past.

The end cap spring feels a bit soft to me, however it seems to be sufficient since no amount of beating the unit on my hand while on will cause it to shut off from spring depression... meaning it wont shut off if you drop it from 5-10 feet or so. the included and pre-attatched wrist lanyard appears to be braided nylon and should hold up nicely over time. the lanyard loop is more than adequate to put my hand through and i can palm a basketball rather easily.

The built in charger seems to work great. but im not sure how long the rubber plug will stay in the unit over the long haul since it is a very soft and pliable rubber. despite that the plug fits into the charging port nice and securely with no slack, nor excessive stretching to get there.

The instructions were easily understood and fairly straightforward. It comes with a mounting clip to mount onto tubes, but i wont be using this so its rather superfluous for me.

The seller was INCREDIBLY QUICK. I ordered this unit before noon (central time) on a Thursday and had it by the next day on standard shipping. It was even UPS shipping.

One final thought...
I cannot say how this unit will hold up over time, weather or not certain bits will fall off or break. For the price, it may or may not be worth the risk for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGood light

Pros: Rechargeable so I don't have to keep pouring money into batteries. I use this light for just about everything around the house and property. Works great for everything I do. holds a charge for a long time.

Cons: Absolutely no complaints, just a couple things to mention in my other thoughts down below.

Other Thoughts: It does tend to get a bit hot when using it at lower power for long amounts of time such as an hour or more. It does make a faint high pitch humming noise at lower light settings. You will only notice this if you put your ear close to the flashlight. All of these are very minor to me and have no reason to be in the cons section.

Overall a very good rechargeable flashlight for the price you pay.(mine was on sale)

3 out of 5 eggsExcllent light but

Pros: Really bright light. I mean REALLY bright light. The bicycle bracket works much better than I expected. It has just the right combination of grip and bounce. I had to angle down slightly to avoid blinding oncoming traffic which results in the light sliding ever so slightly forward in the clamp after going over a bunch of bumps. Pulling it back once in awhile takes care of it and a strategically placed chunk of inner tube or an O-ring will stop the sliding. If you have an occasional need for a bright bike light but are too cheap to get an official bike (bright!) light this version nicely lights up your path. Great for road bike - Might not stay in place off the beaten path.

Cons: The pin in the flashlight for charging the battery disappeared after about the fifth charge. Now I'm using alligator clips and an adapter to try charge the battery, hopefully without wrecking it. Since the plug doesn't work anymore it doesn't matter but getting the rubber cap back in was an ongoing challenge. As others have said finding the switch can be a pain.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Super bright, better than any Mag lite i've ever seen

Cons: the rubber piece on top of the on/off button fell off the very first time i turned it on, the light cannot be turned on or off without it.So I had to makeshift repair it with electrical tape.
2nd time i used it I slightly turned the lens to see if it focused the beam. by doing so the 2 wires connected to the bulb sheared off. Didnt even force it.
Now its completely dead.

Other Thoughts: There is no reason why the on/off button should fall off the first time used. the mechanism is sealed so once it falls off it cant be fixed.
Rosewill has to know that this product is defective and is not fit to be sold..

5 out of 5 eggsinsane

Pros: very bright, don't shine this into your eyes. The brightest setting is total insanity.

Cons: very bright, don't shine this into your pet's eyes

Other Thoughts: standard type of battery, which I have tons of from tearing apart laptop computer battery packs. It's for the 18650 battery if you use the plastic tube (included)
