so far so good
- Pros: looks modern and great sound.. I just got it today so we will see what the future holds. Its hooked up to the 56" Samsung DLP and the PS3!!... also as usual Newegg with the second day arrival!!! and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else online
- Cons: All the cables you need are not included...
If your going to Buy this order a HDMI cable and digital Optical cable and your all set.
Trouble at first - tweak your settings
- Pros: Audio: Audio is pretty decent for the price. Speaker balances need tweaking to get an appropriate surround sound effect (see below section). Rear wireless speakers are a very nice feature
Aesthetics: Speaker stands are great. I had considered other systems, but really didn't want to go through the trouble of purchasing wall mounts/speaker stands.
Setup: Easy
Ipod: Dock is great - browsing though via the interface sucks ( btw the left/right buttons are the page up and page down buttons).
- Cons: Setup: Screws could be easier to get in.
Wireless: Interferes with wireless internet (set your router to use channels 1, 7, 11)
Interface: Could be a lot better (honestly they could of spent an extra 1-2 hours making it nicer) - remote is not as easy to use as it could be
Cables: Comes with none (does come with a video cable. Be sure to purchase an hdmi cable + optical digital cables).
- Other Thoughts: I've seen a lot of reviews which have pointed out issues with the rear speakers. At first I had the same issue and was very disappointed - then thought it through a bit more. It's not that the rear speakers are weak, it's that the center speakers are strong. I've now set up my audio settings to (-7db on the center speakers, and +7 db on the rear speakers). Everything now sounds good.

Panasonic 5.1 sub woofer volume
- Pros: Good sound, wireless surround worked first time, excellent sound. Need to use remote DolbyII button between "off", "Movie", "Music" to acchieve best surround. (Off= 2.1 stereo). The big surprise was how well the surround worked with just plain TV sound stereo into the RCA Aux input.
- Cons: Not a con but mine is the SC-PT760, same remote etc.
- Other Thoughts: Many have mentioned the subwoofer control. The remote near the bottom has a dedicated "Subwoofer Level" button which toggles X1, X2, X3 (shows on display) so you can cut the sub down enough for apartment listening. X1 is still audible but pretty quiet.

my dad ordered it today on black friday 11/28 and im hoping for it to come as fast as it can be..
this HTiB looks nice and the upconversion should be nice..

- Pros: This thing is a great value for the money, it sounds great, lets you listen to your ipod and watch videos from the ipod as well. the up converstion is awesome as long as you use hdmi....overall very good piece of equipment...
- Cons: the one thing that i was a little dissapointed with, i would have to say the wireless speaker, not because they are of poor quality;but because they require to be plugged in to a separete receiver, which then transmits to the main receiver...so techincally the speakers are not wireless....the speaker transmitter is..lol
- Other Thoughts: get it get it get it....i went to bestb and circuitc and both had it priced way more then newegg...and thats plus tax....so defenetly take advantage of this one...you cant loose
