Pros: Very low profile, Super Stylish, Easy setup. This has 3 HDMI in ports and 1 out, that in itself is valuble. It has a long 10ft cable for the main sound bar and a 8ft toslink, so if your TV has only 1 HDMI and is in a enclosed Armour like mine then having long cables and a HDMI switch is Great. DMPort, and many audio ports to boot.
Cons: Not a con but a personal preference... the LCD display is retro... great if you like that.
Other Thoughts: Remember that this is not surround sound, it does handle 7.1 and 5.1 signals but converts them into 3.1 but it sounds fantastic. You get your monies worth as its so stylish and modern. If your lucky you can get it on sale with free ground shipping.

Pros: Reviews are highly subjective. I have a $20k reference system in my living room for flawless THX sound, so I understand quality. The CT100 is obviously not going to give you transparent emersive surround through the entire audio spectrum. However if you're looking for a nice clear full spectrum sound that offers some nice DSP choices to improve on your standard flat panel's sound, this is a great product. I use it in my bedroom where I don't want an elaborate set up. It delivers a nice wide sound stage, solid bass, and outstanding connectivity through HDMI.
Cons: If you like very high volumes, this is not the product for you. Sony's digital audio control does not allow this system to exceed volume levels that will distort the sound bar. It's not a limiter, it just max's at a volume level that is loud, but not very loud.

Pros: PS3 sounds awesome. Heard sound i have never heard playing games and watching blu ray. Good bass, and clear sound. Not a lot of wires. My tv has 1 HDMI but this upgrades it to 3 HDMI. Also lets you connect your ipod.
Cons: need to buy ipod dock made by sony to play your ipod. This connects to a input call "dmport". Only if sony had included a usb connection, there would no need for buying extra part.
Other Thoughts: Great system. I cant even turn it up all the way because i live in apartment and this thing is loud. I dont know why others are saying this, but this thing has lots of bass! And you can control the bass also so you can turn it down and up.

Pros: The Sound Bar minimizes wiring. The sound bar, tv, dvd player etc. all attach to the subwoofer. Excellent price.
Cons: Your not going to get ground-shaking lows. Nor will you be able to expand this system to a 5.1 or 7.1 system.
Other Thoughts: Perhaps because I'm using all digital connections, I'm finding the sound produced by the HT-CT100 is very "detailed". There is also very little background noise. The subwoofer offers a very subtle fullness (however if pushed, the sound gets louder but less defined). This setup would appeal to those in apartments who don't want to bother their neighbors, or someone interested in a nice sound system with minimum wires, or those who appreciate a quality, detailed sound.
