Pros: Fast loading time, ease of operation. excelllent picture quality! Good remote. Great price! It is a Sony!
Cons: No eject-disc button on remote. No big deal to me!
Other Thoughts: This is an excellent entry-level blu-ray player! I am not interested in BD-live streaming from the internet and other things that the more pricey players have. I just wanted great HD picture and this baby delivers! The was great price too.

Pros: Player is great; however to play some Blu-Ray discs it is necessary to insert a one gig memory card in the rear port and down load up-dates.

Pros: Bravia Sync with my Sony TV HDMI support. Awesome picture. Never hangs like my previous DVD player used to. I have not seen other DVD players but I am sure that LOAD time is very fast as it starts playing in seconds.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Bought this from NewEgg. Very fast shipping and very competitive price. Also customer service folks are awesome. Cheers for rep named - Pearl - she helped me with my order. Nice and happy folks in customer service.

Cons: No Netflix or other major internet streaming services
Other Thoughts: An earlier reviewer was incorrect. Most BR players DO NOT convert your dvd's to 1080P, they convert them to 1080i, which is essentially the same as 720P, so, this Sony is NOT inferior to most other BR players, it is the same.
