I put this in the bedroom and you are much better off with this than one of those 200-300 surround systems. I'd buy again. Line in is on the front, 3.5mm, thought it would have been a headphone from the location Read the manual carefully on the troubleshooting of the radio, page 10. CD and ipod on when radio is on.
