2 out of 5 eggsGet something better

Pros: Cheap, decent product at a low price point. Works well with the Xbox One, easy to set up. The One can control power and audio levels. When I turn on the One it turns on my TV and the Sony Soundbar.

Cons: You do get what you pay for. The remote doesn't work any further than 4 feet away from the TV. The speakers hit a resonant frequency near the mid-high end. It's very noticeable and distracting, several friends have asked what was wrong with the speakers when watching shows or listening to music. Very difficult to access ports.

Other Thoughts: If I could do it again I'd get something that will last, maybe a Sonos.

5 out of 5 eggsBeyond Par for a Bar

Pros: Great sound for a bar. Perfect for apartment living where your going for clarity more than power. I was able to get a refurb model for $60 around christmas time! So far, so good :)

Cons: Not a hover board

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing sound bar for the price!

Pros: I have a 5.1 surround sound system on my other TV and have this on the TV in my living room. This works great sounds great has full control for the bass treble sound etc. Other people had complained that it wasn't clean, it didn't have wireless sub, that it didn't come with cables, that it didn't work, that it only had one audio output, and that there was no "indicator light" to tell if it was on, how loud etc it was.

WELL most of those reviews are wrong or just silly, or at least when it came to what I got.

I was a litle moved that it didn't come in "original packaging" but not a HUGE deal anyway. The ad says nothing about a wireless sub...or at least that I saw. The cables did all come with mine or at least the power cord, and a optical cable that was a VERY nice cable. Mine did come very clean and I think whomever refurbed it did a great job! This actually has 1 set of RCA audio ports, 1 Optical cable port, 1 aux port, and maybe 1 other port. What seemed like a no brainer to me apparently wasn't to others. You plug 1 cable into it to your TV's output for audio...ALL of your media devices SHOULD have some sort of audio. HDMI...carriers auido, AUX inports... = audio. RCA devices have the red and white cables for audio. And USB...well how much more do I have to say...use your brains please before complaining about a purchase. In the center of the sound bar itself there's a little orange LED light that turns on when is on. This LED does also show when you max the volume bass treb etc. It does this by blinking 3 times. This does have a great power saving mode that after about 10-20 minutes of idling it turns off to save power. The sub sounds great for a match with the sound bar.

Cons: People should not complain before reviewing items like this. I only had an issue with the post office themselves so I can't knock an egg off. The post office refused to even take the "big" package in their vehicles and just left me a note when I was home. When I picked up the package they stated they didn't feel like delivering the large package.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound

Pros: Great sound, easy to setup and hook up.

Cons: Does not provide LED to let you know if power is on or off so you have to have audio input on and then wait to see if the soundbar is on by listening.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat deal for the $$$$.....

Pros: Low cost
Relatively small size
Good sound

Cons: Only 1 optical input, so need multiple optical cables to each device that must be plugged in-and-out of the single input.
No on-board buttons, must be controlled from the remote that comes with it, or other compatible programmable remote.

Other Thoughts: WAY better than the sound out of my 50 inch Sharp HDTV!
Would buy it again.....

4 out of 5 eggsRefurb SoundBar

Pros: Price was good, Sub $60 and it arrived fairly quickly. Sounds better than TV speakers, I keep the surround sound on all the time. I've only had it for 2 months but it is going strong. I use the Optical input with the supplied cable.

Cons: Nothing bad to say since it was cheap

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great now it has crackling issues

Pros: Used to replace the tv speakers and worked great. Great Bass and fairly good mids. The price I got it for made it a great deal

Cons: Only lasted 4 months and now I cannot stand listening to it. Have gone back to using the stock tv speakers which are terrible. I am sure I just got a defective unit but now it is past it's return date and I am stuck with a non functioning soundbar.

5 out of 5 eggsvalue

Pros: - Awesome sound. Massive improvement over TV speakers.
- Much louder than you would expect from 60W system
- Digital optical input.
- Clean design.
- Decent base. Not deep, not for hip hop parties, but clean and loud.
- System does not require the sub to be plugged in for it to work. You can unplug the sub if watching something at night.
- Loud enough for a living room party with up to 10-12 people.
- Light.
- Eggcellent value.

Cons: - No "on board" buttons. It can ONLY be controlled through the remote.
- Only 2 types of input: RCA and optical. Regular headphone style cable does not work.
- Remote has a short range. I struggle to adjust anything past 3 yards.
-

Other Thoughts: First things first. This is a budget bar. This is not a 1000 watt 7.1 surround sound home theater system. So set your expectations accordingly. I have it hooked up to apple TV and any newer movies with decent sound quality sound great, for the price. It was an enormous improvement over TV speakers.

5 out of 5 eggsBest

Pros: This thing Produce amazing sound and really clear deep bass. It also has very nice and sexy design. The Bluetooth also has really far accuracy. It is also gets very loud and still throw good bass. I also own and Bose 5.1 home theater ($1800) which not bad compare to the sound but I will say that I have never turn those speaker that up (no need) but this Sony are really cheap and still produce an amazing sound which is still loud if I go all the way up to 50.

Cons: Just little heavy ( I might be wrong cause I think I have got it on stud on my wall) .

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a good home theater system of less price.
