Pros: Delivery was prompt and the initial install a breeze. Speakers appeared well constructed with solid mounting brackets and the Safety Wire is a great feature. Sound for music is OK. Lacks the rich tones. After hooking them up to our outdoor patio receiver, I realized they would make a better speaker for the rear of the deck as we also have a TV mounted and they just didn't give the full range while playing movies.

Cons: After two weeks, the center Cone of the one speaker began to separate from the surround and the sound crackled. The speaker began to work sporadically and then, not at all. I found if you removed the cover and pressed and released the cone, it would work for a few minutes and quit.

Other Thoughts: For a speaker advertised as "outdoor" I would expect better construction!!

Pros: They work and are waterproof! Also price was good.

Cons: Bass is weak.

Other Thoughts: Wall-mounting kit only allow horizontal adjustment. Not so much flexibility.

Pros: Installation was easy, Sound quality out of the box very good. Rockin' out minutes after the install...

Cons: Mega mounting plate not available but not crucial for the installation.

Pros: easy to mount and sound great, hooked up outside by patio to an old stereo in the garage and couldn't be happier

Cons: would be great if you could remove the grill to paint them but cant have everything

Pros: Easy Installation. Terrific Sound. Looks good too. I was actually surprised at how good they sounded. Running a Yamaha amp through them.

Other Thoughts: These seemed a little large at first, but really put out nice sound. I'm not too familiar with outdoor speaker mounts but if you mount them horizontal you can only tilt left to right (not up and down), if you mount vertical you can tilt up and down (not left and right). So make sure of your location and where you want them to point.

Pros: great sound for its price. good quality speaker. excellent sound.

Other Thoughts: I have them installed in my restaurant, and they do deliver excellent sound for what I have spent. Before that I was thinking to spend $3K+ on Boss sound system, after I did several researches on line, I ended up spending 1/4 that I was going to pay. A ipod, a Panasonic mini-stereo, a $100 amp, and 8 Yamaha outdoor speaks for less than $900. Far more than I expected. Totally worth it to buy!!!

Pros: The speakers were easy to install. They sound awesome and work without charm.

Cons: Little bigger than I thought. But not a con.

Other Thoughts: I have these on my pooldeck outside and they don't need a lot of volume to project music. I love these and am glad I bought them.

Other Thoughts: I am not a stereo expert, but this set of yamaha speakers sound very good, fill a 20 x24 deck with great sound. I use a older 120w Sony reciever to run them. Mids and highs are excellent, lows are good until you start to push them hard, will take about 60% of the reciever before they distort. Good allaround speaker, ordered on friday, recieved on Monday!!!

Pros: Good sound, clean adequate bass for the money, crisp highs and mids.

Cons: Bass distorts at higher volumes but it,s a $70 set of speakers so really can't complain.

Other Thoughts: These aren't stadium filling or audiophile speakers - and neither is the price. For the $$ they are FAR superior to what you get at RS. I bought these for the camper and they are ideal speakers for listening to music at a reasonable level.
