Pros: I know HD DVD is now dead but it's still top of the line hardware and as good as Blue-Ray.. Blue-Ray may have won the war but there are still alot of people that will not gave in to there price as it will hold on to now that HD DVD is gone. i have owned my HD-A3 4 months now and have enjoyed every min of it.. i even got all 7 of my free movies but it's now to late for that rebate. it rocks old DVD's and is worth that investment alone as it and Blue-Ray are the best with old DVD's .. i even picked another brand-new in the box HD-A3 for $89.buxs at CC online just to put back or sell to a family member if needed. this is the best time to buy and come out ahead of the game and not lose money. if you buy Blue-Ray well the next good thing will kill your investment in that player ($399) just because HD DVD is dead doesn't mean the player doesn't work lol and the movies are still all over epay for sell.

Other Thoughts: HDMI' 7in 1 sound 720p-1080i rock old DVD's..

Pros: None anymore

Cons: DONT BE FOOLED BY PRICE!
TOSHIBA will not be making anymore HD-DVD product like this anymore. BLU-RAY "won" the HD battle.
What this means is that HD-DVDs will probably disappear soon from store shelves. You will have a great player and nothing to play on it apart from current movies out now. HD-DVD format will die soon. BUY AT OWN RISKS!!

Other Thoughts: Finally, this HD battle is over and I can go get myself a PS3 without fear to lose my money. :)

Great Upconverting DVD Player

Pros: Upconverts DVDs to 720p and 1080i with supurb quality!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this after the format war ended because I've wanted a good up converting DVD player for the "play" room so that DVDs can "look" HD on the 32in 720p Sammy display. I have tried it on 1080i on a 1080p Sammy and DVDs look awesome. HD DVD looks great too but I only own one title.
