The GM-5300T from Pioneer delivers all the power you need. This bridgeable 2 channel amp puts out 125W x2 at 4 ohms and 380W x1 at 4 ohms of continuous power. Peak power tops out at 760W. Power is only part of the equation, the sound has to be clean. This amazing amp has a THD of only 0.015% and an Signal-to-Noise Ratio of >95dB guaranteeing all you’ll hear is the music.

A selectable power bass boost keyed at 50Hz lets you set the best bass level for each speaker/sub that you have connected to the amp. Three levels, 0dB, 6dB, 9dB and 12dB, let you adjust it however it sounds best to you. An 80Hz Low-Pass filter works like a smart crossover delivering the high and low signals to the speakers that can handle them best. Pioneer knows sound. Get to know Pioneer.

3 out of 5 eggsI've had this amplifier since 2008 and it's been good on as much as 3 12 inch subs. I will tell exactly how I'm pushing a 4ohm dual voice coil and and a single voice coil 4ohm 12 inch sub woofer. This

Pros: Great buy for the price

Cons: Heats up when bridged so it needs a house fan on it to help keep it cool or fuses will blow.

Other Thoughts: Put the positives and negatives together on your dual voice coil subs or sub in non bridged mode when you don't have a mono amp.

5 out of 5 eggsGlad I got it!!!!

Pros: I am pushing the Alpine SPR 13S Component and with a Pioneer DEH600 UB and I am loving it. I have no complaints. I am planning on adding the Pioneer GM 700M to push a 10"woofer and I will be set.

Cons: I have none to report

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for $100

Pros: Attractive case, Pioneer branding. Low distortion. It has the speaker inputs to eliminate the need for an RCA converter, but so do most other comparable amps. Fairly strong output.

Cons: But don't kid yourself...this is not, by any means, a competition amp. Really, it's not even an amp that likes to be pushed. It will and does overheat, although it recovers pretty quickly. I can get it to run about 5 seconds, full gain at 2 OHM with very little distortion, but that is about it. Also, the low pass on it is not very low. There are better low pass filters on amps half the price of this one. I was the most disappointed on the low pass Htz, which is not adjustable at all.

Other Thoughts: Basically, if you are looking for an amp that is visually appealing, this is not bad. It will push a couple of 10" subs fairly well. If you must have this amp, I would advise getting a separate crossover, because you will be very disappointed in the built-in one. All in all, I don't think Pioneer amps have caught up with Pioneer head units and subs, yet.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job.

Pros: Good clean power, doesn't get too warm, does what I bought it for.

Cons: It's big for what it is. LPF is set for only 80hz.

Other Thoughts: I bought this amp when it was $99 shipped. I am going to use it to power two JL audio 10w1v2s. Right now I'm powering two Alpine Type E's in a sealed box and they sound excellent. The power nice and clean.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat buy, good price

Pros: great quality, heavy, built in 80khz low pass filter. large power and ground connector. over 300 watts rms bridged!

Cons: kind of big for the power it pushes, opened up the lid and there is room for shrinking but would inhibit cooling. no fans, all passive cooling (might not be too bad).

Other Thoughts: had this hooked up to a 300 rms 10" sub and it sends clean juice to the speaker with very little voltage draw from my cars other electronics. Buy if in your budget.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have two of these! They put out every bit of power that they claim to.. and maybe a bit more the way I push them.. They turn off when they start to clip, they turn off when they over heat. work great down to 2 ohms

Cons: One puts my pioneer 5.1 500w home amp to shame.. made me put this in to replace it with. getting 12v dc from 120v ac at this watt load is tough!

Other Thoughts: The sound quality from this amp is better than my expensive pioneer home theater amp, so I now run 2x 8ohm speakers and a 4 ohm car sub = 2ohm load on the amp. Sounds great! I'm even tempted to run this amp down to 1ohm... just to try it :b (ALL PIONEER!)

The other amp runs a 10" in my truck, thats the amp I over heated. It was HOT, but not that hot, I guess around 180*f. Soon as it cooled down, it came back on like nothing happened.
