These 6.5” speakers have a GM-Fit basket for improved fit and easier installation in GM oversized 6.5” applications. Once you’ve gotten them installed you can drive them with up to 280W max (50W) nominal power.
The Injection-Molded PolyPropylene (IMPP) cone is interlaced with two types of Aramid fibers for cones that are both lighter and more rigid. This allows for a tighter, more powerful bass response. The balanced-dome midrange uses a laminated polyester fiber that is 30% lighter than conventional materials. The lighter materials deliver a faster and more accurate response, and you get less power waste from moving the cones which means more volume per watt.
