3 out of 5 eggsA good stereo

Pros: Looks very simple. The basic function are straight forward. Has a remote. Has 2 USB ports.

Cons: The unit has 2 oddities in its firmware design. The first is that when it's on random and I hit the next song button, it plays the next song rather than the next random song. To overcome that I had the idea to put a .5 second song at the beginning of every folder. That way if I was in random mode, I'd just have to hit the up folder button to play a new random song. When I tried to do that I learned that instead of being sorted alphabetically, like would make sense, it is sorted by when you put the file on. So it's not as easy as just creating a file named 00.mp3. I've got to think about the order I put things on. Which is do able, but a pain in the but.

Other Thoughts: For sure go through and look at all the settings. Mine was very annoying, flashing every 10 seconds, out of the box.

I was hesitant to get the OLCD because in all the pictures, the background looked busy and stupid. There is a setting that doesn't have anything in the background. It makes the unit look really sharp

4 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted.

Pros: Great product, I love being able to plug in a thumb drive and have all my music available to me with the press of a button. Controls are easy to learn. Sounds great and I haven't even attempted equalizer settings yet.

Cons: None yet, display options leave a little to be desired. Secondary USB cable could have been a little longer (6 inches more would have been nice, I suppose I could get an extender).

Other Thoughts: Pretty easy to install. Doesn't come with a wiring harness adapter and mounting kit. Had to order those from C----field, now I know why C----field's price was slightly higher, because they include all that stuff in the order (based on vehicle make and model).

I was originally going to get an ipod to go with this, but the fact that it reads thumb drives just fine makes that option completely unnecessary.

4 out of 5 eggsprice vs quality

Pros: sounds great, 2 usb ports, ipod sounds great thru it, nice display

Cons: to no fault of its own it will not mount the android phone as a mass storage device, the android is a Linux based system and for some reason some stereo's just won't mount it.

Other Thoughts: would like to have blue tooth but just couldn't justify the price difference

4 out of 5 eggsGood radio - Nice price

Pros: Has 2 usb ports, good sound, works with iPhone & iPod Touch

Cons: iPhone disconnects intermittently.

Other Thoughts: I've owned two previous Pioneer car stereo's and find the radios have good sound for the price compared to other brands in same price range and are easy to use . Purchased for iPhone and iPod Touch compatibility. Unfortunately the iPhone intermittently disconnects from USB port but the iPod Touch works flawlessly. I think the problem might be the iPhone as it tends to stop working with other ipod compatible devices.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty good bang for the buck

Pros: The menus are fairly intuitive and the unit is fairly adjustable. I love that you can have your iphone plugged in charging playing your music and when you get a call or text message it will mute the music.

Cons: Errors quite often when plugging iphone in. Just unplug it, then plug it back in, always ends up working.
