5 out of 5 eggsIt Performs

Pros: This head unit is pretty solid. it puts out 22 watts rms power, which is in the high end of power put out for a device like this. it has a 4v pre amp voltage , resulting in better quality music put out through the three RCA channels. three RCA channels means you can have front mid and rear (sub), which is great if you are trying to amp the whole set up. Also, i really like how easy it is to control the subwoofer through the head unit. one button gets you to the low pass filter and sub level. USB and aux is a convenience.

Cons: I found the ipod compatibility to be a bit janky. you can't use your ipod once it is connected, you must navigate through the head unit. Down side is that the head unit is a really slow way to navigate through a simple 100 song play list or worse, through your whole library. the fast forward and rewind feature that the head unit has for all music wasn't the best either.

Other Thoughts: Overall, 22 watts rms to 4 channels, 4v preout voltage through 3 channels, sub woofer control, USB music, Aux input, detachable face-plate. All in all, this is a great buy at 150 dollars.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Head Unit

Pros: Gotta admit I love this head unit. It offers much better sound in my 02 Dodge Ram with stock speakers. The music is clearer and louder than the stock unit. Also the USB add-on is amazing. A flash drive full of music to carry instead of a bulky cd Wallet. If you concerned about the length of the USB cable since it is on the back don't worry. They cable they include is about 2-3 feet long.

Cons: Like others have pointed out the controls are a little tough to get used to.

Other Thoughts: Overall I couldn't be happier with this head unit. Even though the controls are a little difficult to manage, you get used to them. Once you're used to them there isn't much that can beat this unit IMO.

4 out of 5 eggsiPhone 3g s compatable

Pros: Good sound quality. Works with and charges my iPhone 3g s.
factory included USB extension cable.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a Griffin USB to Dock iPod Cable which has a bungee cord to connect my iPhone to the stereo when it was in the docking cradle; however when I use it this cable, the radio will not charge the iPhone so I have to use my white apple iPhone dock connector.
I thought iPod and iPhone cables used the same pin-outs so this was unexpected. Hope this helps someone when purchasing accessory cables.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: great sound, nice features, IPHONE compatible!!!, great price, very vivid display, pre outs for fronts rears and subs! (room for expanding)

Cons: little less quality than some older units ive had, not as many features as older units, menu navigation takes about 5 solid mins to get completely used to (their older units were very instinctively controled imo)

Other Thoughts: great for the price, i wouldnt recomend if you are into competions, the main reason i bought it was because of how new it was, and it works with ipone also the price was right.
