5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stereo

Pros: I love this head unit.
I wanted to get a unit about $200 more, but the price just wasn't working for me. I caught this on a deal for $69 so I couldn't pass it up. I love this thing.
Yes, it is missing a lot of the cool features that come with the more expensive units, but I don't care. All I wanted to do was plug my phone in in my car. Now I can.
I don't have a single bad thing to say about this radio. It does exactly what I want it to do, play music, and do it right.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I say, if you are on a budget, but want/need a new head unit that has a preamp out and a 3.5mm jack, buy this.
It works great!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent basic head unit

Pros: Simple install, very standard. for the low price it comes with a remote, which is really nice, it plays MP3's and has a mini jack to connect a portable mp3 player to it. much better than an ipod only connector (yuck, no freedom of choice that way.)

Cons: It is a good, low priced head unit that works great as a replacement for the OEM radio. stations come in clear and different bitrate MP3's play flawlessly. so no cons!

Other Thoughts: don't be foolish and cut the harness in your car to install, get a harness adapter
for your make/model car. and getting a decent install kit is a great idea as well!

take your time and make sure you find all the screws that you have to remove so you don't break your bezel, enjoy!

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Put this in a Chevy s10 to replace my old Pioneer head-unit that died finally after 6 years. Looks very sleek looking along with the all red lighting. The volume button is huge and also acts as the power/source button which is nice at night time. Customizable EQ along with some presets built in. LOUD. Remote Control. Wiring it up was pretty straight forward, although there was already a system wired up in the truck. All over good head-unit. Better than the one it replaced.

Cons: Navigating the unit itself is a bit funny at first. There is a dedicated audio settings button in the very top right next to the cd eject button. I'm used to the cd button being all the way right, but I just got used to it after awhile. The only other quirk is how the "Loud" function turns on. You have to hold the EQ button down for about 2 seconds then loud turns on/off.

Other Thoughts: I like Pioneer, what can I say. They make good stuff and at the price paid, it was more than worth it. Got it next day after ordering, go newegg.
