4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good resolution (though I believe it is actually 800x450, not 800x480), good price.

Cons: Not very use friendly interface. Remote required for several things.

Other Thoughts: Worth the price - screen quality is excellent.

4 out of 5 eggsCoby 8" digital photo

Pros: Works fine - easy to understand, easy to setup.

Cons: Speakers are less than adequate for music.

Other Thoughts: I would purchase a larger size next time. 8" was smaller than I thought.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: This review is really an opinion from my Dad, since I gave it to him. He really enjoys the Digital Photo Frame, loves using the MP3 player feature on it as well as a great storage for pictures that can be easily displayed. Great Picture Quality and overall a nice frame. Definitely recommends to others.

Cons: So far non.

Other Thoughts: Great deal, can't beat the price and also forgot to mention there was no dead pixels.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks and Looks Great

Pros: The picture quality is great. I was nervous at first because I have never purchased a product with this brand. So far the picture looks good, no dead pixels, has great features and was easy to use. I actually bought another one for my Dad. Great gift idea and he loves it.

Cons: Main thing is, seems like you have to have the remote control to load pictures from a disk but I haven't had it that long.

Other Thoughts: This product is a great deal, what are you waiting for?

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: This is everything you need in a digiatal frame. It's compatible with a lot of memory cards. It's easy to use. Works like a charm. Full potential if the pictures are 16:9 ratio (widescreen) but works with 4:3 as well.

Cons: None so far. I got 3 and they all work well.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked out well

Pros: Pictures look great, menu is relatively easy to navigate, same with the remote.

Cons: Not a fan of the white body and clear frame area, memory cards could be a little more recessed when in the frame... no issues with functionality though.

Other Thoughts: Glad I didn't spend twice as much for something that is supposed to be better. My primary concern when looking at one of these was not having terrible looking images because of a cheap screen, this worked out well.

2 out of 5 eggsCoby? Never again...

Pros: The digital photo frames that I purchased are both working well. As usual Newegg has been great in their customer support.

Cons: One frame was missing the remote.

Other Thoughts: A remote was missing from one of the frames I purchased. This wasn't realized until it had already been given as a Mother's Day present. Newegg was able to provide me with the customer support phone # for Coby, but Coby never answers and after 25 minutes on hold you are automatically disconnected. Coby's online email support box currently doesn't work (I tried Firefox and IE). I finally got through to Coby's customer support and was told I had to pay a $6 fee and mail in a letter in order to receive a "warranty" replacement remote. I was supposedly transferred to a recorded message with the address to send in my request, but again I was disconnected.
Newegg was kind enough to refund the $6 fee, but after 2 hours of trying to wade through Coby's support system, I will never order one of their products again.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Screen

Pros: Picture quality is very good. Works well.

Cons: 16:9 screen doesn't work the best for pictures. My next one will have a 4:3 scale.

4 out of 5 eggsNice frame and features for little money

Pros: I like it! This is the first DPF I've ever used. I researched these for a few days and settled on this one because it seemed to have the most features in the price range I was looking for. I bought it in a sale and with a promo code so feel like I got a good deal. The pictures look great to me, good resolution. The speakers are a little tinny sounding but at a middle setting the song I played sounded good. There is a headphone jack so it may be possible to hook it up to other speakers. I read the manual for about 10 minutes and was able to figure out how to load pictures and MP3s on it using the included SD card and USB cable and had a slide show up and running in less than 30 minutes. Next time it should only take a few minutes. There are choices for slide transitions including random. Music will play during the slide show or you can choose not to have it play at all. The setup screens were easy to use. The remote control is labeled well and easily understandable.

Cons: The plastic frame is a little cheap looking but not bad.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very satisfied with the frame considering what I paid. This item is a gift for a family member. I have preloaded it with photos and music. I look forward to giving it and then turning it on for the guest of honor. She can change the photos easily as soon as she would like.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Picture

Pros: Very Clean picture compaired to another Digital Picture Frame (DPF) purchased from a box store.
Nice features

Cons: 8 inches is smaller than you think!

Other Thoughts: The DPF I purchased at the box store was just terrible you really need the 800x400 minimum. I could have spent a lot more and obviously gotten a better pixle rate or bigger screen. This item is perfect for desk tops or small appartments.
