1 out of 5 eggsDp700 look out

Pros: NO PROS AT ALL. Alright so you know a product is bad when I make an account just to warn people not to buy this. It doesn't work at all no matter what form of memory unit you put in. Not just that but just looking at the demo you can tell that the resolution is super bad. Do not buy ever

Cons: All of it. There are no pros

4 out of 5 eggsDecently priced

Pros: Its nice and small and will fit anywhere. Price is good for quality. I bought this locally for under $30 on a black friday sale. It transisitions nice and there are decent options to how you want your pictures displayed. Its for 16:9 format pix, but you can adjust to if you want your 4:3 pix cropped or w/ black ledgers on the side. I enjoy looking at it by my dinner table.. never really gets old. Flip tabs in the back allow you to stop and freeze or go back to pix. Takes large capacity SD cards.. great!

Cons: The cord is a little short, so you probably need an extension. The picture is granular but you are buying a 480/234 @ 7", not a 800x600 at 7". If you want better clarity, then pay more for a better picture. Not many other gripes than that.

Other Thoughts: If u can afford it, I'd buy a 800x600 for $50 or spend a $100 on a 10" frame. small increase has significant impact. This is a great starter frame though.

2 out of 5 eggsOk for the price but flawed.

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to use, decent display for a low resolution. It's also fairly bright without washing out the image.

Cons: Slow to load images, orientation sensor is glitchy. When in vertical (portrait) position the frame is supposed to rotate the image accordingly. It does but the sensor must be either extremely sensitive or flawed because the image would jump back and forth from portrait to landscape for the images that needed rotating.

Other Thoughts: I found that most sub $75 digital frames suffer in quality in general. Some will be better than others but there will always be something that is not up to par with the more expensive frames.

It's a shame that this frame did not work out for me since I received it for my first Fathers Day.
