Pros: After posting a poor review, about my disatisfaction with the RMA process I was contacted by Newegg and the part was refunded.

I give them a 4 to even out the 1 from earlier. I just can't bring myself to give a 5 as I had many hoops to jump through before I finally got attention. My thanks to the folks at Newegg who stood behind the product.

Cons: Note: Coby never replied on my manufacturer's warranty enquiry.

Pros: low cost

Cons: Ran fast by about 4 hours per day out of the box.
Newegg offered a replacement RMA (they refused refund) but the cost of return shipping is almost what I paid for the part.

Other Thoughts: The warranty is thus not worth the paper upon which it is printed.
The concept of sunk cost is not lost on me and I won't throw good money after bad (i.e., I'm not interested in paying for it twice.)

I'm pursuing this with Coby and am waiting to hear back from them on what they're willing to do.
