There are no pros to this system, at least not when compared to others I've owned. This system didn't have either of our previous systems beat on any level. Cons: Poorly designed mounting system Can only watch one DVD at a time (i.e., two passengers cannot watch separately) Short power cord barely reached my outlet Other Thoughts: This is our second set of portable DVD players, and by far, the worst. The mounting "sleeve" system is ridiculous, even for passengers who are old enough to slide the player out of its sleeve to change DVDs, etc. The power connection doesn't seem to be holding up after only two weekend trips' worth of use. But it has to be completely removed from the headrest attachment, a nylon bag thingy, in order to change the DVD. Right. Like I'm going to pull over and stop on the Interstate to change the DVD.
