2 out of 5 eggsNot worth it for me

Pros: If you wiggle it the right way while the stars and planets are in the right alignment and the powers that be deem it so, this can pick up some local HD stations for a minute or two. It also looks good and is easy to fit almost anywhere due to its low profile.

Cons: Reception is terrible. The farthest station from me is 20 miles with no geographical barriers between my house and them, and this barely picks it up. Of the 12 channels my tuner card found through it, 3 of them are watchable on occasion. Reception comes and goes every few seconds until you readjust the antenna's position.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but not great

Pros: Cheap, easy to setup, low profile

Cons: Some channels go in and out

Other Thoughts: I live in a house in the northern suburbs of Atlanta so reception should be pretty good around here. This is the first HDTV antenna I've had, so nothing to compare it to. I get all the local channels and when the signal is clean, the high definition pictures are stunning. Unfortunatly, 46 (CBS) & 36 go in and out sometimes which is really annoying when watching a football game.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works very well, but like all antennas, they need to be in a good spot to receive a clean signal.

Cons: It does not fit in most entertainment centers - it is low enough, but not wide enough for a single wide shelf. (it would fit in a double wide shelf)

Other Thoughts: At ground level, I could pick up 8 digital channels in the suburbs of Albany NY

Other Thoughts: Ive used the upgraded Terk TV5 antenna and it performs exactly the same as the TV4. The only difference is that it has a tv/video switch.

4 out of 5 eggsActually Works for HDTV

Pros: Cheap - the price is right!
Nice styling
Easy to assemble
Fine for off the air HDTV reception in metropolitan areas.

Cons: Don't expect miracles from any indoor antenna.

Other Thoughts: I recently tried a number of indoor "digital-ready" "HDTV" antennas with my new HD receive. They ranged in price from 15 to a 100 bucks. This unit cost less than all the others and worked just as well. Don't waste your money on so-called "directional" and amplified indoor antennas. In fact, a 2 buck UHF bowtie will usually do the trick, but the TV-4 looks pretty cool and is reasonably price. I was able to receive all but one of my local HD signals just fine (none of the other antennas were able to pick that station up either).
