Cons: You MUST be careful of the room lighting in the room containing the IR remote receiver. I had problems with a certain brand of CLF bulbs. Seems it lamp had a STRONG output in the IR spectrum! A bulb swap allowed proper function.

Pros: Occasionally works.

Cons: Occasionally does not work.

Other Thoughts: Discovered how easy it is to hard-wire ir receiver/repeaters.
These things work flawlessly compared to the Terk IR/RF system.

Pros: Sometimes it works perfect. Flawless,...sometimes.

Cons: Sometimes it does not function at all. Nothing. Will begin working again with no change to anything in the environment.
Frustrating.

Other Thoughts: Have two digital receivers. Bought 4 pair of these things.
RF crosses between floors and will occasionally tune an unintended target receiver.

Pros: I purchased the Leap Frog IR remote system to operate my DTV receiver in my 5th Wheel from room to room. The IR system in the RV would not work from the bedroom to the living room. The Leap Frog system works great, I would reccomend this system for uses like this.

Cons: None at this time. I hope the system keeps working.

Pros: Does everything needed. Works perfectly controlling my DTV DVR in the other room so we can watch it in the bedroom.

Pros: Works as advertised. Using in bedroom and computer room upstairs with Cable Box downstairs. Simple set-up, could not be easier.

Cons: So far none.

Other Thoughts: This answers our need and, not charged for another Cable Box.

Pros: Works well! My satellite dish provider requires a bulky box at each TV which wasn't practical for the small wall-mount in the master bath. I moved the satellite box to the cable junction box in a remote wall, added a Terk Leapfrog transmitter there, placed the small receiver behind the bath TV and... 200 channels w/no box!!

Cons: Units could have been made a little smaller!

Pros: See that review by user "N/A?" Yep - that's me. I was so happy with the performance of this product.

Cons: Unfortunately just 3 days outside of the 30 day newegg RMA window this device's range of operation became severely diminished. I cannot state clearly enough just how cheated I feel that because of a mere 3 days and despite others having the issue I cannot RMA this for replacement/refund.

Other Thoughts: I expect more of Newegg than this. I have spent well over $30k with newegg.com over the years. The #1 reason I used to shop here was for the stellar customer service.

Pros: Very large distance/range of operation - manual quotes 20ft. but I was able to get up to 30ft. Flawless operation - no noticed delay.

Cons: Can't find any yet.

Other Thoughts: I previously purchased an IR repeater/extender from mono-price and it worked horrible. I had to stand within 4 ft. of the sensor for it to pick up my button presses on my remote(s). I returned that one and ordered the Terk here at Newegg expecting at best marginally better results. What I ended up with was nothing short of spectacular. I'm delighted that the product works better than advertised. I am seriously considering purchasing another for a 3rd room.
