The alarm can be programmed to operate on weekdays only, weekends only, or all seven days of the week.

The alarm displays the month and date with the touch of a button.

Cons: Packaging was not good, received item with one of the BUTTONS pushed down...I had to take the item apart(4 screws) and adjust the contact button so as to function. It works great now...Poor packaging, caused the button to be received bad...the button is to adjust the time zone. Other Thoughts: NEED BETTER APCKAGING. Did you find this review helpful? Takes Up Small Space On Nightstand, Smaller Than My Old Sony Dream Machine. Cons: No Dimmer Switch As Described. Will Not Set Alarm To "Weekends Only" As Described. Other Thoughts: Cant't Beat The Price For This Rugged Little Unit. You Can Probably Throw it At Your Wall When Your Neighbor In The Next Apartment Is Playing Music Too Loud And It Would Survive. Cons: The details of this item states the model can discern between weekdays and weekends. IT CAN NOT. The owner’s manual that came in the box was for a completely different model that DOES have the features listed in NewEgg’s description.
