Powerful amplifiers and 3D sound processing circuitry ensure exciting performance. Conveniently, the TVee system has a special learning function, so you can control it with the remote you're already using.
The ideal combination of performance and convenience, you won't go wrong with this stereo system from Boston Acoustics.
Pros: Definitely the best thing about this unit is the wireless subwoofer. Aside from that, the overall size of the unit is appealling.
Cons: No digital input - the only option is to use two channel RCAs with this. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but my TV has a digital coaxial out. This leaves me running all sound through the headphone jack on my TV!?!?!
Other Thoughts: If the audio input is a problem for you too, look at the Sony unit that offers many more input options. Otherwise, this is a great unit for the money. The sound is what you'd expect from BA.

Pros: decent sound, very very easy to set up, no extra remotes other than the tv remote. Use the variable sound setting on your flat screen to control the volume.
Cons: wireless signal from soundbar to subwoofer transmits at 2.4ghz which is the same frequency as bluetooth devices, some wireless networking devices, and also some cordless phones. Even with adjustments still interferes. I have to get a 5.8ghz phone now to see if that solves the issue.
Other Thoughts: wireless subwoofer is a great idea but with so many other wireless devices it could cause issues.

Pros: Delivers exactly what I needed and then some... greatly improves the sound quality vs. the stock speakers on a 46" Samsung LCD. Didn't want or need full surround in this location. Very simple to set up... Simply unpack, plug in 2 power cords, and one 3.5 stereo to RCA adapter, did a minor volume adjustment on the sub, and it all sounds great. I was actually surprised with the sound quality. Even the wife was happy!
Cons: None... did some research, knew what I needed and this fit the bill perfectly. No issues or complaints at all.
Other Thoughts: I am running the sound bar using the headphone jack on the TV. Works great as the TV volume bar shows the volume level. No need to mess around with programming the remote this way either.

Pros: Until recently I had a 42" Phillips Plasma with its built in soundbar. Purchased this and all I can say is I am impressed. 100% better sound. Great highs and mids and the wireless sub is impressive. This is in a very large open living room. Very pleased with the purchase. Programming was easy but had issues with directv remote (see cons).
Cons: Issues with programming the Directv remote, it just wouldn't take. I ended up using the phillips remote that came with the TV. I'm not picky and don't mind having two remotes. Just making people aware.
Other Thoughts: Great substitute for a complete surround sound system. Especially if your like me and do not want to drill holes in the ceiling to run lines/speakers or have cables running across the floor. My house is old colonial style with wood floors and trussed ceilings and I didn't want to take away from the look. Have a furture room set aside for a full blown theater room anyway. This is just to get my fix for now.

Pros: It is a definite improvement over stock speakers of a high definition tv and cheaper than the bose cinemates.
Cons: Like other reviewers it only has RCA inputs so make sure that you have RCA left and right outs on your tv before purchasing. Also the instructions arent to clear on how to program it to use your tv's remote and if you do understand how to program it then it might takes a couple of trys for you to program each button function.
Other Thoughts: I assumed my HDTV had RCA outs and I was wrong. Had to purchase a Digital Optical adapater to RCA to get it to work with my tv (which is hard to find). For all you people in the same boat that I was in, the adapter is made by a company called NexGen and it has inputs for a digital optical audio in and coaxial audio in. It will set you back about 110 dollars.
