5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: you get what you pay for. really long reach

Cons: kinda high price.

Other Thoughts: don't listen to these rookies. there are always going to be cheaper products out there. no reason to bash a product just cause the price is high. its high for a reason. my MC hdmi cable is LIFETIME warranty. it was discontinued on newegg but still very similar product. people who come on here bashing a fine product because they aren't happy with an expensive product they haven't purchased are naive. i got 3 of these so-called "$5 hdmi cables" that are the "same quality" and guess what happened? they stopped working after 1 month. AND the company didnt honor the rebates. great company to be supporting there, huh? keep giving these naive rookies helpful ratings. you are just cancer to the newegg review community.

Cons: all hdmi cables are digital. it works or it doesn't. monster cables are no different than the cheap ones u find online. dont let anyone tell you otherwise. only difference is monster cables look pretty.

4 out of 5 eggsThe world is analog

Pros: While I'd probably never spend this much on a cable, it's important to understand that *all* cables transmit analog signals. It's true for your Ethernet cable, a fiber-optic cable, and yes, HDMI cables. The signal is interpreted as digital, but that signal *is* analog - and it can be degraded and misinterpreted. This is a bigger deal the faster you go. That's not to say you'd notice the difference between a cheap cable that works, and a very expensive one. But there can be a difference.

Cons: Very. Expensive.

1 out of 5 eggswhy buy this?

Pros: none

Cons: price

Other Thoughts: HDMI is a digital signal, so it either works or it doesnt. why pay 150 dollars for a cable when a 5 dollar cable give the exact same quality.
