Monster Cable MBD R-HT MKII 2 Pair Dual Banana Adapters

Pros: More connectivity on the terminals to my yamaha receiver.
Sound is definitely better. Seems to have more power and clarity on my quad klipsch floor standing speakers, rears, and center.

Cons: I thought these were supposed to be one set (2 connections) to 1 speaker but it would not reach between positive and negative. It did however fit across 2 positive terminals side by side and same with 2 negative terminals side by side. The copper brush things on the plug itself made it a pain to install. They were to bowed out to fit in the terminal on my receiver. I had to take some vice grips and squeeze them down a little bit so they would fit snug.

Other Thoughts: 12 bucks a pop, but I'd say they are worth it. Just be prepared with a pair of vice grips to narrow out the copper brushings. I also might add DO NOT FORCE IT! I wasn't about to push too hard and crack the board on my 900 dollar yamaha receiver over some 6 dollar banana plug. All is well now though and it sounds great.

Pros: Both my speakers and my stereo have Banana receptacles. Before these I had to screw down the pin connectors of my wire in them. They were such a pain to secure, hurt my fingers and over time from the vibrations of the speaker, some would actually loosen up and cause the system to power down.

Now that I have these... Wow! What a difference! Fast to attach and snug with no force required. And my sound has so much more volume and power now. My girlfriend and I were stunned, it sounded like we got a new stereo. And no more shorts. They are sturdily constructed, have a nice weight and fit both my Yamaha receiver and JBL speakers.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Don't bother with the other dual Banana adapters Monster makes that come in 2 separate connectors, they are junk and you have to crimp down the contact.

Also, make sure you have thick braided wire, preferably 12 gauge to really take advantage of these. I doubt you'd feel the difference these connectors make with cheaper 16 or 18 gauge.
