Pros: the speakers actually sound good.

Cons: the brackets were very flimsy sheet metal. the brass nuts embedded in the speakers were first not deep enough for
the knob screws. ( I was hanging them form the eaves )
so you couldnt thighten them enough and the speakers
would swing face down. if you really tighted them the brass nuts would start to spin in the speaker body.
when i tried to take the brackets of 3 of the 4 nuts fell out into the speaker case.

Pros: sound quality is good at low volumes

Cons: handles bass poorly. does not carry sound very far. might be good for a small apartment with an enclosed patio, but not great for anything open like a back yard.

Other Thoughts: Ended up going to Radio Shack and buying better speakers.

Pros: I bought a set of speakers for the outside deck of our home. We were so impressed we bought another set for the inside great room. 400 watts provides plenty of what we were looking for. We just want good speakers that don't sound "tinny" and we didn't want to pay an arm and leg. I am sure sound enthusiasts would find something wrong with them, but for us 'simple folk', the speakers sound great to us!

Cons: None that I have discovered yet.
