Pros: Install was really simple, small size, good weight, low profile, all necessary hardware included.

Can easily connect/disconnect monitor from mounting plate as needed just by lifting up a few inches.

Needed for 100mmx100mm VESA monitor mount and it did the trick.

Cons: Price - a lot of money for such a small, simple item.

Other Thoughts: The day the mount arrived I get an e-mail from the Egg thanking me for my purchase and one of the included coupons was %50 off on mounts, including the one I just received. I could have used that coupon a week earlier! I was so mad......

BTW - Only good for monitors where the plugins point down, not out. Clearance between monitor and wall is about finger width (1/2" or so).

Pros: Came with all the proper hardware for mounting to a stud or drywall only. I mounted just to drywall as the monitor was only 2 lbs. Solid and the description and picture show exactly what you get.

Cons: its too thin and close to the wall just .6" from the wall and is extremely dificult to connect anything on the TV.

Cons: Check the back of your TV before you buy. This mounts the TV very close to the wall. If the connections on the back of the TV aren't fully recessed or pointing down there won't be enough clearance.

The instructions are sparse and might confuse some people.

A small nit, but there's a small amount of play in the mount. The weight of my TV makes it tilt downward just slightly. I'm ok with it, but might not be for someone wanting a perfectly vertical screen. Also, while the mount is sturdy, there's nothing but gravity holding the TV side of the mount into the wall side, so the TV can be removed simply by lifting straight up about 2 inches. Not a good choice if you need security.

The square hole pattern on the wall side of the mount means that almost nobody is going to find studs for all 4 bolts into the wall. I only used two bolts on one side into a stud, but it's plenty secure for a typical small TV.

Other Thoughts: I was hoping to get a slim TV and use this mount to get a sleek look for a 22" TV on a bedroom wall. I ordered the TV and this mount together. After they arrived The power cable on my TV was a 3 prong type pointing straight back and required about 3/4" more clearance than this mount allows. I sort of solved the problem by adding 1/4" wood as a spacer between the back of the mount and the wall. I also bought a new power cable with a 90 degree connector and a 90 degree coax connector. Those changes made it -just- fit. There's nothing wrong with this mount for a small TV, but in retrospect I wish I'd checked the TV connectors before I bought it.
