Pros: Very long cable at a very good price. Significantly less than what you would pay for a cable half this length at a store.

Cons: DVI signal is only intended to be used out to 15 feet, so there will be loss (green artifacting in black) when you use this extension cable.

Other Thoughts: You can minimize artifacting by using lower refresh rates. At 60Hz you can barely notice, while at 75Hz the displayed image becomes unusable.

Pros: Probably ok for sales demonstrations or other practical functional use for business.

Cons: Lousy for Graphic Arts Multimedia & Home Entertainment use.

Other Thoughts: I bought this 15' cable to extend my existing 3 ft'. I got a green noise in the video. Ok, the limit was 15' according to the DVI standards. So I returned it & purchased a new one AND I bought a gender changer to remove the 3'ft; to make it compliant. While this improved the video, there was still a green noise in the dark areas of the video display. (particularly in the dark black video scenes, images, etc.).

Pros: heavy, solid, thick cable. Great quality for the price.

Cons: I was unaware that one end of the cable has 18 pins and the other end has 22. My connection between a laptop and a projector works great, regardless. But it would have been a bad surprise had my connection needed all the pins.

Other Thoughts: I learned through this process that there are several different types of DVI connectors... Check the pins/slots on the two devices you are trying to connect and check every cable end of what you are buying to make sure it is compatible.
