5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It works. Confirmed working with Eyefinity.

Cons: Didn't think it would, but it did.

Other Thoughts: 20 bucks for one...eh. Worth it. Playing on three NEC 17" Accusync's.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy keep looking

Pros: It's a BT mouse that comes w/ batteries and has no problems syncing w/ my mbpr.

Cons: The only reason I considered this mouse is b/c the last MS mouse I owned for a laptop lasted years and I loved it. This mouse is in a league of its own: For starters its way too small unless you have 10 yr old little girl hands stay away from this, I don't consider my hands to be huge by any means but w/ this mouse I feel like Im holding the gear shift knob in my car. Secondly the scroll wheel on this is a joke it has huge "ticks" when you scroll up or down but even worse scrolling down a webpage works okay at best but try scrolling back up and 9/10 the device thinks you are clicking in on the scroll wheel.

Other Thoughts: I haven't owned it long enough to give a review on the battery life or durability but just by the feel of it, it doesn't seem that sturdy. I am very disappointed in Microsoft for this junk piece of hardware I expected a little bit better. Buyer beware~

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what is says.

Pros: I have two VGA monitors and I bought a new ATI gaming card (7870), this adapter allowed me to use the miniport to the Monitors VGA and worked perfectly.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGreat active adapter

Pros: Works great. Had borrowed a friends Apple brand miniDP to VGA to test out eyefinity. It worked good, this one works BETTER. Apple one would drop out signal from time to time, this adapter has been solid with no drops. It pushes a 1600 x 900 center monitor running 3 way eyefinity setup off of an HD5970.

Cons: Price. This is true for all of these adapters. We need them and they know this. I feel for what it is, there is some price gouging going on here. Not neweggs fault! Mfg fault! I also blame VGA mfg for not including this stuff with their $600 GPUs!

Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled into thinking you need a $100+ active miniDisplay port to DVI to run eyefinity with 3 monitors. This baby works just fine. The VGA connection here is just that, it's only the physical connection. The physical connection has little to do with actual resolution or signal.

5 out of 5 eggsMiniDP to VGA

Pros: Its an adapter and it works. CC considers it a displayport monitor meaning it works with Eyefinity. It hot plug and played with an LG 1650by1050 monitor works great, no noticeable response time lag.

Cons: When my system is powered down the monitor flashes the "check connection" screen. Not a big deal it just reminds me to turn off my monitor.

Other Thoughts: The unit is smaller than I expected. Also switching to mini displayport its a really good connection. The plug is nice and tight and holds in quite well much better than HDMI.

1 out of 5 eggsFrustrated

Pros: No idea (yet)

Cons: Not working ...

Other Thoughts: Not sure if this is just me but I can't get this to work. I am running a Radeon 7900 video card and have three 24" samsung monitors with a DVI and VGA port each. I'm trying to use this to connect monitor 3 to one of the VGA ports so I can use the DVI port on that screen for other devices. No matter what I try, it connects as a 'generic non-pnp monitor' and is limited to 1600x1200 instead of its native 1920x1200.

Any advice appreciated. Considering returning as it's just not working.

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

Pros: Works fantastic, no fuss, plug and play. Eyeinfinity setup took setups, blasted thru some awesome 3 screen BF3.

Cons: $20 for an adapter is kinda steep.

Other Thoughts: 6990 running 3x 17'' LG flatscreens via VGA

5 out of 5 eggsThese get the job done

Pros: Simple and to the point, this does exactly what it is meant to do. Used to extend the life of a PS/2-equipped KVM switch, it did exactly that.

Cons: None that I could find. Hopefully they will last forever (meaning until it's time to finally throw out the old KVM switch).

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong. And thank you Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Product

Pros: It works, simple as that.

See "Other thoughts"

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I just upgraded to the Radeon 7950 series from the 6950/70 series. The 7950's have a single DVI, HDMI, and dual mini-display ports. My main 1080P display is DVI. However I also run an "older" 4:3 LCD display for work related tasks, it uses VGA.

The XFX Double D Radeon 7950 Black Edition comes with an HDMI to DVI adapter, but that's it. Also, you can not run HDMI to DVI/VGA dongle since HDMI does not carry a VGA signal.

Display ports do however. So this active mini-display port to VGA adapter worked great. Allows me to continue using my secondary display without having to invest in a new one when this one still works flawlessly for the needed tasks.
