Cons: I bought this because it says you can attached it to your PC via USB and upload pictures. This does not work as advertised and I have tried repeatedly to work this with Hannspree and still no resolution. I am trying to return it. This frame has a great picture. It is a nice size, especially for a book shelf or on a desk. I am using a 4gb sd card, no problems. The auto on-off feature is a feature I did not know I would like so much. This would be a great application for your desk at work. You could have the slide show and music turn on right as you walk into your office. The music feature is a nice touch. The quality is not anything special, but it is nice to have some ambient music in the background. The calendar feature is nice. it does a split screen for the day calendar and time. And a 1/4 screen with the monthly calendar and time.... which would be great in the office. I think it would be nice if you were giving this to grandparents preloaded with pictures and grand kids soundbites. I also like the feature where if you have a vertical photo and pick up the frame it readjusts the orientation. It also plays video. Cons: The video you load will not play as part of the slide show, as far as I can tell. The remote kinda sucks and I think once you have started the slide show it is locked out ( or mine is defective, or it is just pilot error.) I will address other people's cons from their review. No shuffle, a little annoying but not a dell breaker. It is nice when you have a series of photos that you can see them in order. Someone mentioned the ac plug falls out. Not true for mine but you do have to firmly plug it in and it feels like too much force but it is not. Other Thoughts: I'm sure a Viewsonic's frame would be much better considering how great their monitors are but if you don't want to shell out the big bucks, this frame is great! Also most of my photos sat on a hard drive never really being viewed so this is a great way to enjoy them without having millions of regular photo frames all over collecting dust. in fact I got rid of most of my photo frames. Cons: 1) No random mode. 2) After playing a slideshow on my desk for one week the unit started automatically returning to the menu screen, then the reverting itself to the "chose source" screen. It will no longer play a slideshow, making it completely useless. Other Thoughts: I bought 5 of these, planning on handing the rest out for Christmas. My dilemma is whether to return the defective one to NewEgg or HannSpree. Either place will can't get me a replacement until next year. Right now I'm thinking I'll just go for the refund.
