Maybe instead, HDMI to VGA? Other Thoughts: This cable is what it is, a HDMI to VGA cable. Most HDMI inputs don't support VGA. This cable would be more suited if you have an HDMI output on a machine that you would like to use for another VGA monitor. I'm sure this cable works fine. It is just advertised poorly. Every previous reviewer probably purchased this product with the intention of connecting it to their machine's vga output and their monitor/tv's HDMI input. Anybody who is looking to use VGA to HDMI, you will need a converter for this cord to work. Plain and simple.
