I messed with it for 2 hours and finally called a tech. Direct tv sent out a tech and even with his meter we could not get a signal. Sooooo.. I bought a slim line SLM and a 21volt power inserter he had on the truck, it fits the tripod and he had it aligned in 5 min. There is a you tube video that shows lay people how to set up and align a SLM HD dish. If you RV alot and are always setting up your dish look into buying a $60.00 meter that dials in the tilt and elivation. Other Thoughts: Look up SLM alignment part 2 on you tube. Pros: The tripod is great.

Cons: The dish will not work with my H25-500 reciever. I messed with it for 2 hours and finally called a tech. Direct tv sent out a tech and even with his meter we could not get a signal. Sooooo..
