The Sunforce 8.5 Amp Pro Series Charge Controller is ideal for protection of your solar panels and batteries. Built with reverse polarity protection, this product is designed for use in small solar systems where a load disconnect is not required, such as yachts and RVs. Small and compact, this controller is equipped with an integrated temperature compensation function that enables use at a broad range of operating temperatures. Pulse width modulation and boost charging allow for more efficient solar power systems. This product handles up to 127.50 watts of solar power.
Versatile Charge Controller A charge controller is a very important feature of a solar system and must be used on all systems over 15 Watts. Designed for use in small solar systems where a load disconnect is not required, such as yachts and RVs, this charge controller handles up to 127.5W of solar power, and is a boost and equalization charging for better and faster charging. It protects your batteries from overcharge / discharge, and also protects solar panels from hot spots. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) extends the life of the battery.
Enhanced Safety Connecting a solar panel to a battery without a regulator seriously risks damaging the battery and potentially causing a safety concern. This charge controller features a temperature control that enables use at a broad range of operating temperatures, voltage drop compensation and reverse polarity protection.
Convenient Operation The charge controller has an LED display which shows the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph. The green LED indicates battery is fully charged while the yellow LED means the battery is being charged.
