5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: This is the 2nd one of The Klipsch Power Bar Elite.Sound Bar! I bought. The First was for my Girlfriend Last yea(2014), It sounded so good. I Had a whole year to shop around, in priced all ranges and for under $600. This one sound is Best! Especially the first one I got for $249 plus shipping of just $15....Then When I finally got High speed at home and some Real TV...I bought the 2nd one for me!. That one I really Lucked out at $199.99 plus $15 shipping. Cant go wrong. only thing is has only 2 inputs, 1 Optical, and 1 Set RCA. But sound nice, 10" side Sub Woffer and lots decent midrange and High's on the bar it's self!.

Cons: Would be nice to have possibly couple more inputs...

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the price great Deal, Great Sound!

5 out of 5 eggsWell made, great sound, even in a non-standard application

Pros: - Great, crystal clear sound
- Extremely easy setup
- Individual power sources for each speaker set (Sub and Bar)
- Big sound in a small package
- Simple operation
- Sleek and attractive form factor

Cons: - Lots of extra packaging
- Included optical cable could be a few feet longer

Other Thoughts: Disclaimer - I use these as my PC speakers so I have no reference related to any type of typical television application. For the purpose I use them for I feel I couldn't have made a better choice.

I wanted a smaller form factor surround system for my home PC and I didn't want all the hassle of installing a 7.1 system so I started investigating PC surround bar systems. FYI, the PC versions I found mostly suck. They just didn't fit what I wanted, which was clear sound reproduction, fits under and behind my monitors (sound bar), separate sub, minimal wires, lots of response, able to get loud when needed and have an optical input. Well these do exactly all of that plus some.

One nice surprise was the remote control. It is small making it easy to keep out of the way, simple and I use it more than I thought I would because it's always easy to reach. Another surprise was that it comes with two power cords (one external transformer for the bar [like a laptop power cord] and one internal for the sub). This makes it very simple to put the sub anywhere your want because the sound bar doesn't have to draw it's power from the sub transformer.

I've watched DVD movies, streamed Pandora, Hulu, played video games and watched HBO Go and all have been crystal clear, even in 3D mode.

I'm very happy with this system and gladly give it 5 eggs!

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic sound, easy setup

Pros: This thing sounds great in my bedroom. Setup in 5 minutes, only 2 wires coming from the soundbar. Watching Star Wars right now and the sound quality rivals my much more expensive 7.1 channel setup with mid-level Polk speakers and a Yamaha receiver. I don't understand the negative comments about the subwoofer being underpowered. Its turned to 2 or 3 o'clock and is quite loud and not distorted. Also the 3d mode sounds very realistic. Got this for $150 on Black Friday. An absolute steal at this price!

Cons: none. other than lacking bluetooth. but for the price - wow. who could ask for more.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Great for the price. Pretty sure its the same unit as the Klipsch Icon SB-1, which goes for double the price on a competitors website. Great sound, much better than the normal TV speakers.

Cons: None. Well the controller is a little lackluster, but its a sound bar, and everything can be remapped to another controller anyways.

Other Thoughts: Seems Klipsch has branched out and sells these "Energy" branded items for a lower price....

3 out of 5 eggsWell, . . .

Pros: Sound bar has clear sound. Signal connectivity is quick. Doesn't require a rocket scientist to set up. Bought it for $150.

Cons: Subwoofer is so-so for me. I have to really turn up the volume to hear the punch. And I put it in the middle and the corner of the room. No luck there.

Other Thoughts: The Elite subwoofer set at 4 o'clock compares to my 100-watt/10-inch Harman Kardon set at only 10 o'clock. With the same music loudness

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Size and Sound

Pros: + Great Sound, especially for the price range
+ Wireless Subwoofer
+ Toslink optical input (cable included!)
+ Works amazing with 5.1 Dolby Digital signals in 3D mode
+ Wall mountable

Cons: - Keyhole mount for wall, no brackets
- Sub doesn't hit the really low frequencies (fully expected at this price range)
- Tweeters aren't really loud

Other Thoughts: I knew all of the cons going into this purchase. All-in-all, this is an amazing TV soundbar that works really well for movies, TV, and games. If you want something that can reproduce concert orchestra performances or make the house rattle while listening to dubstep, keep looking and raise your price expectations.

This is, however, the best thing I have heard for under $200. It won't replace a really good (>$600) 5.1 system. It rivals budget (<$300) 5.1 systems in surround experience, but blows them away in sound quality and ease of setup. Results may vary depending on placement and room size, of course, but I had this up and running in less than 5 minutes, and was cranking crystal clear music and movies through this with no distortion loud enough that my wife could hear it on the porch of our brick home.

I have to recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to run speaker wires, and wants it for movies, TV, and games.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sound

Pros: Great sound. Matches the sound of sound bars in the $400 price range. Subwoofer produces nice base and is wireless.

Cons: None for it's purpose and price.

Other Thoughts: Granted it's not a 7.1 speaker system, but it sounds fine. If you don't have space for 5.1 or 7.1 system, this is a great alternative and you'll pay less than $200. I highly recommend it for apartments and anyone who wants a lot of bang for the buck.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade for stock speakers under $200

Pros: Probably the best sound upgrade from stock TV speakers you can get for $179 (on sale). A decent 5.1 or 7.1 would cost at least twice that much.

Cons: Subwoofer booms a lot (not in a good way) if you turn the sub volume up too high. Seems like the sweet spot on the sib is different for both movies and music. Might try different placement, too, as it's in a corner right now. Not a dealbreaker at $179 and I am overall very happy with the system. Just don't expect full simulated surround sound, cause that's not what it does.

4 out of 5 eggsEnergy sound bar system

Pros: The digital optical input is a first class connection option . Blue tooth subwoofer paired to the soundbar instantly . The little remote is becoming industry standard , i have one from sony and nyko .

Cons: I could do without the RCA analog input . There is only two inputs and they both should be digital optical .

Other Thoughts: I have the energy take five surround sound system and now i us the elite sound bar and sub as a dedicated music/video source . Also beefs up video games sound .

4 out of 5 eggsGreat sound, Too bad BT was built-in

Pros: Solidly built and great sound quality.

Special sale price & included FREE Scosche BT adapter.

Large/solid sub-woofer. Very good sound, not boomy

Quality finish.

Cons: Lack of BT built-in, but I knew that when I bought it. Special price included free scosche BT adapter.

Not a fan of the 3D setting, but maybe others would be.

Other Thoughts: I have a home-theater setup (Yamaha, Paradigm), but don't want to have to turn it one for nightly TV viewing. This provides great sound quality with the convenience of auto-on.

Included the Optical cable.

Sub-woofer synced with the bar quickly and allows for tuning the bass level to your needs.

If it wasn't for the BT adapter, I wouldn't have purchased this, even with the reduced price. Streaming music from my phone was a must have.

In addition to TV viewing, I wanted a decent system I could use to listen to music from my phone (via BT) and this produces great sound.

Four EGGS only because in today's tech, BT should be standard.

This would be a great sound system for a dorm. Use with TV, and stream music from laptop, tablet or phone.
