Right Quality For The Right Price
- Pros: I used to be a car stereo installer and this meets my standards for output, sound quality, and frequency response across the spectrum within this price range. Yeah, it's not Focal Utopias or MB Quart Q Components (or whatever other brand/series is considered top tier for quality these days), but I would say that they are on par with the older Polk Momo's and Inifinity Reference series from a decade ago that I use currently. I installed them in my wife's Scion Xa. I was quite impressed with the low mounting depth which is a concern in many vehicles and the fact that there was pretty minimal distortion with using a head unit's internal amp. Ultimately, I ended up powering both pairs of these using an olllld Soudnstream 5 channel amp (35W RMS per channel) and they are brilliant.
- Cons: It's not as easy as replacing your blinker fluid. (Seriously, these are spectacular)

- Pros: This speak set is awesome. For the price, you cannot get anything better. I've ran it through with and without amp, and it serves the best. I had another speaker pair sony it performs about 3 times better if not more.
- Cons: like all the speakers speakers alone can only go so far. if you want to maximize this boy, get an amp and blast it.
- Other Thoughts: I regret not getting this set for my front as well. I thought I'd give a try for pioneer and kicker didnt meet my expectation. I give 5 out of 5.

Quality Speakers!
- Pros: Good Sound, easy to install, crank out the bass!
Great Price for Polk Speakers!
- Cons: The grills they come with look dumb (in my case I didn't need them, just an observation though)
- Other Thoughts: I am using the factory HU and they are not used to full potential. They need and will handle lots of power! New HU next?
Polk 6.5's + Alpine CDE9872
- Pros: Best 6.5's I've ever heard! I had a pair of Kenwood 6.5in 3-way speakers that I loved and I was trying to custom rig from my old truck into my new 96 Nissan D21 Pickup i got frustrated and bought these instead. The Polk's are blowing the old Kenwoods out of the water in terms of Bass and clarity. They plopped in without much of a headache also. Plus they are water proof which is what killed a stock speaker in my new truck.
These speakers perform awesomely in every genre I listen to! I listen to a lot of classic rock, lots of NIN, and Techno all different kinds especially Drum and Bass. I hear things my old 3 ways were not putting out.
If your a music freak these speakers will make you smile ear to ear.
- Cons: Had to use some different mounting screws to get them into my truck some wider self tapping ones.
*Other Nissan pickup owners beware that you will need to drill at least one more hole to get the speakers mounted up solid only 2 of the spots will work on the adapter included. You will also need to cut the door panel to fit the new speakers. You can leave it uncut but your door panel will be a bit loose and bulged which could cause problems with your locks. ( I know from exp)
- Other Thoughts: If your like me and don't have a lot of back depth on the door to mount the speakers grab these these are nice and slim so no headache of fabricating an adapter plate seeing one is included.
make sure you have a good head unit to fully utilize these speakers :D

- Other Thoughts: I put these in an an older model LX450 Front doors, Much louder than the rear stock speakers. Made the whole system perform much better.
