Pros: I am using this as a standalone as PC speakers. I purchased a tiny AMP for it and they sound great. They are the right size and sound great.

Cons: C'mon, they're $30. How nitpicky do you want to get? If you're worried about the frequency response curve, you should be buying an entirely different class of speaker.

Other Thoughts: Got these to replace some 10 yr old surrounds that didn't survive the move. Perfectly fine for surround rears for watching movies. Could get nitpicky during DVD-A listening, but thats not fair to a $30 speaker. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Pros: At $30 per speaker, these were a heck of a good deal. They are a major upgrade on the Yamaha satelite speakers I had in place and really filled out the sound in my living room 5.1 setup. There are better speakers available but for the budget-minded person, if you have the promo code, these are great speakers with really full sound. Also, I really like the wall-mount brackets. They are very convenient and allow for very easy aim as well as secure to the wall quite firmly

Cons: They didn't mount themselves to the wall.

Other Thoughts: I picked up a high-end sony receiver a year or two back but it didn't come with any speakers so I picked up a 5.1 yahama speaker set for abotu $150. They worked fairly well and gave me some good sound. I was amazed when I hooked up these two speakes on the front as well as the new center channel, at how much more full the sound became. Like I said above, extremely good, budget-minded speakers. Well worth every penny I paid for them.

Pros: Great sound for the price (30 a piece!) Not outstanding, but using them as surround left/right in a 5.1 setup they are just right to get the job done.

Cons: Had to boost dB level by 2 or 3 on receiver for these. Probably my receivers fault though.

Pros: Replaced Monitor-30, not much difference! Just as good as Monitor-30.

Other Thoughts: I have all Polk Audio Monitor-series speakers, but the Monitor-30 is too big (smallest in Monitor series) and over-kill for surround sound. Replaced the M30 with this RM7, only noticed small difference (M30 is still better) but good enough for Satellite. Adjust the rear-speaker volume from my Yamaha amplifier made it just as good as M30.

Pros: Speakers look awesome with the glossy black. Very heavy for their size, which is a good sign. I just got them mounted, just waiting for my receiver now...will update once I'm able to use. Mine were CLEARLY advertised as 1 speaker per order. Was excited to see that they were back in stock and still $29.99 each!!
