5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Absolutely outstanding! Works perfectly, and its been over what, a year now?

Cons: The power cord is kinda short?
If you want to call that a con.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for long runs; not reliable

Pros: - Mildly price efficient, though still probably overpriced
- When it worked, it was nice!
- LED indicators of connectivity

Cons: - Only worked correctly for a few days. After that, it would no longer split signal from Cable box to A/V receiver and remote TV. I had to run the input signal to the A/V receiver and then split the signal from there to the two TVs, but that required the receiver in the living room to be on in order to watch TV in the bedroom. Less than ideal.
- Contacted cables unlimited tech support for above issue and said "too bad for you" more or less.
- I later moved the TV using a 50' HDMI 1.3 cable and it was not able to repeat the signal. Ran the 50' cable straight to the box and it worked fine. Just can't do the long run.
- I'd say I just got a bad unit, but it "kinda" works and other folks have had the same problem. I think this is just HDMI from 2007. Not much help for me today.

Other Thoughts: If you just need a short run splitter < 10ft, this might work for you, but don't try to split the signal much further with this product.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for the job

Pros: -Relative price
-External power
-"brand" name

Cons: -the fact that one is needed
-price point is still higher than I'd like it to be

Other Thoughts: Didn't want to pay for another cable box and other options (Sling) for getting the full HD signal to a second TV in the bedroom (just behind the wall of the living room TV) were cost prohibitive. So, for the short term, I have a 10m HDMI cable hidden along the floorboard and switched from the cable box to the bedroom. Voila! No more cable swapping. Works like a gem...just can't watch two different channels at once. C'est la vie.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked... for a few days.

Pros: It worked great out of the box for a few days. I migh of used it for a total of 5 hours or so...

Cons: It's been 5 days and it's no longer in service for whatever reason. Turned on the Xbox today and the splitter wasn't working. Tried plugging it into something into the ps3 and that wouldn't register either. Not sure if something went wrong with the power cord here or if it's the splitter itself. Either way I cannot in good faith recommend this to anyone after I've had such a poor experience with it. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more cash for something of better quality.

Other Thoughts: If you get lucky enough to get a good one you might do alright. It's possible I just got a defective device, but either way, I'd still rather not deal with this particular product again.

4 out of 5 eggsConfirmed working.. pretty well.

Pros: I split the output signal from my A\V Receiver to a 42' Plasma and my Acer K11 mini Projector. I can run both devices simutaneously at 720P or one of the two at 1080P. The casing feels farly durrable aswell as the lead wire. It basically does what I was expecting to do so cons are few.

Cons: When trying to run both devices at 1080P, I will see some screen shuttering on my TV, and or the projector will loose connection every few minutes. My projector has been tested direct to my BD player so I know it can handle the full HD signal. Its advertised as being an Amplifier so I'm a little disappointed at that. I suppose its possible I got a bad splitter. Also the price is higher than other online retailer which surprises me considering this is Newegg. I got it elsewhere for around $35.

Other Thoughts: For what it does, which is save the hastle of contantly messing with connecting and reconnecting cables its worth the price, even around $50. Think of it this way. Good HDMI cables and A\V Receivers are way expensive. The more you mess with them the quicker they'll go bad. May as well buy one of these and save yourself some money in the long run.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: It does what it is designed to do. I purchased this with a 25' Nippon Labs HDMI Cable. I run a short HDMI into my 42" flat screen in the living room and the 25' Nippon HDMI cable into my 24" ASUS monitor in the computer room. No dropped signals or stuttering.
When I get my video capture card I will plug the 25' cable into that.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Carries satellite and dvr signals just fine.
