Titanium dome tweeterThe PLAISIR tweeter makes use of a extra powerful neodymium motor and a titanium dome. The small damping chamber at the back of the dome eliminates backwaves and internal reflections, thus improving detail retrieval in the higher frequencies.The titanium dome produces very rich harmonics, making the PLAISIR speakers excel on strings, cymbals and wind instruments to name a few. The midrange drive unit loaded in the PLAISIR range use all of TRIANGLE’s stand-alone technologies : paper cone (tropicalized to stand high humidity), multi-pleat suspension, oversized motor and phase plug. The result is a natural tone combined with a great sense of openness and transparency : the slightest variations in a voice become obvious, all the intentions of the musicians become clear to you.
High Technology Cross overAll crossovers in the PLAISIR speakers use the RPC technology developed for the MAGELLAN R&D Program. The aim of this crossover layout is to limit phase distortion and to decrease directivity. The RPC technology makes the soundstage more realistic in both width and depth. The speakers vanish and makes room for the music only.
