Cons: Bulbs flicker and hum. Mfg is completely unresponsive to calls (have to leave voicemail) and emails.

Pros: Works AC or DC and at such a wide voltagerange makes designing your own power supply very easy and very cheap..

Works with battery as low as 7VDC at usable room illuminating brightness

Cons: Lamp metal heat sink edges are sharp.

The lamp runs hot when operating with the top-end voltages

Other Thoughts: The several I've bought have no "Blue" color issues, at either low or high voltages.

I replaced the halogen bulb in an emergency backup AC power-failure lighting unit and the output light is both brighter AND lasts 5X longer than with the old halogen lamp. It now lasts about 12 hours when main AC power fails, while providing enough light to read a book anywhere in the room (note: number of usable hours will depend on backup battery voltage and Amp-Hour ratings)

6000k light color should be reserved for car lights and nothing more... the light these bulbs put out are horrible!!!!!
The light color really dims the room you have them in. The color is so harsh that in daytime with the lights on all it does is make things blue.
I knew 6k light wasn't going to be pretty but the lumen output is just so bad they're literally like flashlights...

Pros: LED, 'nuff said. Low consumption, cool running and all

Cons: NOT "daylight"! They are COOL WHITE, NOT warm white.

Pros: awesome light output on a string a parallel landscape lights. I wasn't expecting the brightness and the literally blinded me for a second.

Cons: a little deeper than MR16 halogen bulbs I bought at Lowe's. They are a tight fit into my housing, but still made it.

Cons: The light is too harsh, not daylight...practically bluish. The pins are finnicky and dont seat easily in my fixtures (Techlights). I am sending 2 out of four back , unfortunately I tossed the packaging fot the others

Pros: Beats the halogen as far as "daylight" look as I have this on a 3.5" tall geode and it shines beautiful.

Other Thoughts: if you use Halogen for lighting you will be simply impressed at an led's look on that same object at much less heat,energy use.
I have done lighting on many properties inside and out and in the past even made lighting fixtures for customers using led's because of their brilliance and am glad that Mfg's are starting to make all the lights I could not make.

Pros: Who is writing LIES about these? The color is HORRIBLE, nothing close to the bright white halogen light that they state "these replace"!! It gives off a horrible BLUE light, making everything look off color and making your skin tone look like you are ILL! AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS!

Cons: bright, but not equal to the wattage equivalent of a halogen.

Pros: Good spot lighting potential, fits most of the MR16 fixtures we have, provides equivalent light. I would purchase again.

Cons: Attracts spiders like nobody's business. Slight audible buzz from transformer when on (minus one star.) Very "directed" source light so not a wall washer.

Other Thoughts: Light temp is pretty sterile white, on the blue side.
