This review is from: Stanton SCS.4DJ DJ Controller and Media Player Pros: Does what is says it does easy to set up, no laptop needed to use it is built in. Cons: Very delicate!! We had one slider break in June, it is now October and we still do not have a working unit. Lack of durability and customer support is what is going to kill this brand. You get a better warranty at KMART if something goes wrong. Other Thoughts: The slider snapped during the warranty period, Stanton, now part of Gibson sent me a list of repair shops in my area. Nine weeks later the slider arrives, another week to assemble slider is in, but the unit is now dead. The shop is scratching their head as to duh what do we do. Stanton is no help whatsoever! The unit still worked , booted, was usable even with the stubby slider, when we dropped it off, now it is dead with no replacement forth coming. We spent $500 on this item , from another vender, I wish we knew the there was no real customer support. It is a nice unit, but the lack of durability, and support make it little more than an expensive toy that is most likely to break and be a door stop. Thanks Gibson for nothing. I the last thirty years my group has spent $30 grand on Gibson products I am surprised that their famous customer service does not extend to the Stanton line. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: Does what is says it does easy to set up, no laptop needed to use it is built in.
