5 out of 5 eggsI like this wall mount

Pros: Quite sturdy, I mounted it into 2 wall studs, and I could do pull ups off it. I then put a 30lb TV on it.

Cons: Possibly could have put a few washers in some places, as I had at least two to snugly space part of the mount. NO big deal.

Other Thoughts: I really like this mount, especially for the price. And I greatly overcompensated for a 46" TV, but this way I future proof myself a decent bit.

3 out of 5 eggsUsed on 50" Plasma

Pros: The price is very reasonable for this product. I looked a long time for a wall mount that didn't cost a fortune.

Cons: The tilt portion is very poor. With a heavier TV you cannot get a true vertical position. In fact it tilts quite a bit at the minimum tilt settingd due to tolerances in the moving joints. The only way to offset is to use different sized spacers at the bottom and top of the TV mounting points (if your TV allows) and even then you may not get a true plumb/vertical. I cut two of the spacers in half to make them shorter. Mine is now slightly tilted after adjusting /modifying and is right where I want it. Also the plastic wall mount screw inserts for plasterboard are poor and sometimes do not grab. Put some wood inside the wall if you can or directly lag into the studs.

Other Thoughts: It worked out for me overall. I just had to mess around with the spacers and vertical adjustment. The low price it offset that hassle. However, the manufacturere should offset for the normaly play/droop so the customer doesn't have to.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Exactly what I needed for the Vizio 42HDTV. If you bought a Vizio (great value price, but poor mounting hole alignment) then this will work well for you. I wanted a mount that would both tilt (up/down) and swivel (left right). It does both. Its solid construction (overkill for a light weight 42 inch TV) but as previously noted, the selection factor was that it would expand to the accommodate the ridiculously wide (600mm) spacing on the mounting holes for a Vizio 42HDTV. The swivel feature is very smooth, one finger movement. I do use the swivel often (from the couch on one side of the room to the desk on the other side), and it works great.

Cons: Unlike the swivel feature, which is great, the tilt feature is much more cumbersome to adjust. The tilt feature is pretty much a manual bolt loosen/tighten each time you want to change the tilt factor. Luckily, I have found that I really don't need to change the tilt all that often. Once I had it where I wanted it, it is pretty much solid. The minimum separation from the wall in the full centered position is great (about 2-3 inches). When you put in 30 degrees of swivel, that thing really sticks out there.
