4 out of 5 eggsRange is better than listed

Pros: Listed range is 30 miles.... I'm picking up a station at 45 miles away that is partially blocked by a mountain, trees, and my apartment.
Design is quite compact and easy to use.
Is directional, but if you live close enough to the channel sources then it shouldn't really matter too much (point it at your farthest source)

Cons: Plastic body feels a bit cheap, but I don't think I'll have any problems with it. Signal seems a bit dependent on the position of the cable and little dongle-signal-collector-thingy (proper term escapes me at the moment). If I move those things a bit my signal fluctuates quite a bit. Could just be my coax or a loose connection somewhere. Mounting hardware is decent, but they got a little confused with the nuts so I need to go buy one.

Other Thoughts: Great product with better than expected range.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent antenna

Pros: Compact, light weight: I was able to mount it on a satellite speaker stand.

Pulls in all my local television channel with the help of a preamp.

Cons: Arrived on time. Newegg normally delivers the following day!
Cable was pretty thin. I ordered RG6 cables.
some assebly required

Other Thoughts: I live in an area with very poor reception. I am located in a river valley with hills on two sides. My building has a steel frame, concrete floors and ceilings, and stucco walls. All the local television channels are east of my location. My unit is on the west side of my building.

Using traditional rabbit ears antenna, I get no channels. Winegard Freevision pulled in two digital channels. Adding a preamp increased the number of digital channels to 10 or all my local television channels.

4 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: it's working like it should... much much much better than those cheap amplified rabbit years one typically finds at stores.
i'm using this for a tv tuner card on my pc which gets very difficult to get clean signals for.

Cons: not the best indoor antenna i could find. that honor belongs to another brand that unfortunately newegg doesn't carry. not really a knock on the winegard as it more than holds its own.
some assembly required.
also i wish the cable was a little thicker and more insulated.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Relatively simple setup, lightweight.

Cons: Although the antenna works fine, I found the casing quite cheap feeling and I don't trust its reliability.
