Pros: It worked! for a while. Created wonderful detailed digital images.
My 84 year old father was Glowing with excitement as I converted his small pictures into larger ones that he could see on the TV screen.
NewEgg had fast shipping and it arrived just before Christmas!

Cons: After about 25 pictures it started leaving lines in the digital images and I can not get rid of it. I thought perhaps it was dust or grit so I cleaned the scanner as they suggested. In fact I cleaned it over and over to NO avail. The lines will not go away. We have scanned over 100 pictures, but they all now have the extra lines and it is getting WORSE.

Other Thoughts: If anyone has found why it does this please explain or tell how to fix it. It cost too much to RMA

Cons: It came with the nameplate scratched up.
It would not scan photos, and damaged the one we tried to feed it.

Cons: Wouldn't feed pictures, tried 10, feed 1 in the middle of trying all different sized pictures, on different material, inkjet photos as well as professional photo processing. Submitted an RMA to return, cost 14.95 to ship back UPS. seriously doubting I'll ever purchase here again. what a JOKE...

Cons: Wouldn't feed any picture I tried, ones I printed on ink jet photo paper or from "professional" photo finishing. Had one picture of 10 I tried actually feed, and only half the picture showed. Re-boxxed.

Other Thoughts: I won't be re-ordering this for my wife. Disappointing Christmas present.

Pros: This digital frame is pretty much plug-n-play. It works. Resolution is good. You get what you pay for. Color saturation is ok. Piano black frame is nice-looking.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Setup and operation was simple and easy.

Cons: Worked well for 47 photo scans. Beginning with photo 48 - and worsening with each additional scan - a white line began to appear across the center of the scanned file. Tried running the enclosed cleaning cloth through multiple times with no improvement. The Skyla website is "under construction". Tried to send an e-mail to the address noted in the instructions on 11/7/12. No answer yet.

Other Thoughts: This is a good idea, and I want the product. But I need it to work long enough to scan probably 1000 family photos. Service after the sale is apparently non-existent. At this point, my cost-per-photo scanned is over $1. The unit does now make a workable door stop. The risk of purchase is entirely your own, because you will be alone if service is required.

Pros: So far works well . Great idea , all those old photos finally get seen instead of collecting dust in a box . Comes with a fair amount of built in memory , plenty of room , can be expanded easily .
Easy to operate , great gift for older folk with large photo collections and low tech skills . Very easy to use and set up .

Other Thoughts: Just hope the frame /scanner lasts , so far 700 pictures loaded .
