5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Antenna For Price

Pros: Excellent antenna for the price, picks up around 40 channels (the broadcast stations are approximately 30 miles from my house), super easy to install, takes in both UHF and VHF signals, and did I mention all this for under 20 dollars.

Cons: The only con is that they send an RG59 cable instead of RG60, but that is not enough to deduct an egg.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks. Opened box item.

Pros: Works better than the antenna it replaced.

Cons: None really. Is what it is.

Other Thoughts: Assumed item was new. I received an open box item that had obviously been used and returned. I don't mind open box items if the item is mint. This was only good condition - it was dusty, showed minor crimps in the plastic, and scuff marks on the white side. Didn't deem it worthy of my time to return. Would appreciate the heads of it is a pre-used item.

5 out of 5 eggsGood indoor antenna

Pros: Good antenna for the price. Convenient form factor.

Cons: Not truly non-directional, but there's really no such thing for a UHF antenna.

Other Thoughts: One thing I've learned through research and experience - there's no such thing as a "miracle antenna". There are certain basic principles they all conform to. Having said that, this one isn't bad. Look carefully and you'll see that this is a standard double "bow tie" UHF antenna, conveniently encased in flexible plastic. That makes it reasonably nice looking and able to be mounted flat to a wall or window. A window is better. It's not truly non-directional but close enough that you'll probably get good service at one 90° angle (if it doesn't work on one wall, put it on another that is 90° to the first.). It's a true UHF antenna, and the claimed 35 mile range is good for UHF band channels if mounted as described below. Some stations broadcast in VHF high band. RF channel 13 or below (go to antennaweb.org to check for your area). For these the range seems to be only 7 - 10 miles. Mounting recommendations: Mount against an exterior wall or, ideally, a window. Mounting options are up to you. I used suction cup hooks through the two small holes at the top to stick it on a window. Put it about 4' below the ceiling. That way the signals are not obstructed by your roofing material. If that's not satisfactory, try it on another wall or window at 90° to the first.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine.

Pros: It works fine and looks good. It receives same amount of HD channels as the cheap rabbit ear antenna it replaces. But channels are a lot more clear and have way less interference.

Cons: None for the price.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works, increased signal compared to my makeshift antenna (coax to Y with nothing else!). It is small and out of the way.

Cons: May be TOO light/thin, ultra really is about posterboard thing!

Other Thoughts: I would say overall it does everything it claims to do and would recommend at a lower price point than retail.

4 out of 5 eggsEasy and it Works

Pros: Attached straight to the TV, no amplifiers or control box. Clarity better than my cable. TV picked up 27 channels which is a lot better than my previous digital antenna with a control box of only 4-5 channels. About 30 miles as the crow flies from the local stations antennas.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: Might need to try this antenna with the control box.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This thing is amazing. I expected maybe 5 channels and we get over 20. I don't know the exact distance but I am guessing this thing has a range of around 50 miles!

We get all the local channels we were looking for and so many more

Cons: It would be nice if it had a stand or something instead of needing to mount in on the wall. Not a huge deal it just might look a little nicer at least in my situation.

Other Thoughts: I was very skeptical at first that something like this would work. I got it on sale for under $20 and now that I know how well it works I would have gladly paid full price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value - works great

Pros: What a great value - money well worth spent! I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Prior to this, I was rabbit ear style antennas that I bought from an online retailer. Their customer service is very weak - I won't even bother mentioning the name here. The reception on that one was mediocre at best. Every other day I was having to adjusting and re-adjust those stupid rabbit ears to get the best reception. One day a channel would come in fairly well and the very next day that same channel would not come in at all unless I moved the antenna around and adjust the rabbit ears. CONSTANT BATTLE.

Ever since I installed this, all of the major channels come in very clearly and there's nothing I have to do to get the best reception. Even that elusive channel 2 (CBS) that was coming in & out on me all the time is now coming in crystal clear. Since i am in a lower level apartment, I made sure to mount the antenna on the wall right next to the window. Other than that, no other 'tweaking' is necessary.

Prior to buying this, I was actually contemplating buying a MOHU leaf - it's a good thing I checked Newegg's newsletter first because they had a special promotion on this ($12 off). It's the best $20 I ever spent on HDTV antenna and about 3x cheaper than a MOHU leaf to boot.

Cons: Not really a "con" per se, but the co-axial antenna cable that's included with the product is a bit on the short side. If they made it about 3 feet longer, it would be perfect. Still, the antenna has great reception and I definitely got my money's worth. Even if you are a city dweller with high-rise buildings in your area or live in a basement level apartment, it will have no problems pulling in all the major channels.

Other Thoughts: Comes with small little velcro adhesives which you can use to mount to the wall. Or you can use the small little pins (sort of like tiny nails - whatever you want to call it) to mount it.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo side color will match my decor

Pros: This antenna will pickup more channel and look very modern
Coax cable is decent long

Cons: Other than coax cable is little stiff hard to hide or stay flat.

Other Thoughts: It will scan less channel if I place flat again the wall work best in free standing position.

4 out of 5 eggsI am satisfied with it

Pros: Stylish, very easy to install, very good delivery of what it was made for!

Cons: None really - one thing people should notice is that there is no stand for this antenna - it is intended to be pinned to the wall (pins provided) and some velcro double sided adhesive pieces - I like the package, definitely not a con - just something to be aware of

Other Thoughts: I have never used an indoor or outdoor HDTV antenna since I was and still am a cable guy... however, we got a second TV in the bedroom and wanted something besides my chromecast there so we can enjoy some news - especially in the morning when we are getting ready... I live about 37 miles north from Chicago downtown and I was able to get about 30 channels, of which HDTV was about 9-10. Really happy I got local news channels, couple other ones - picture and sound is crystal clear - love this antenna...
