4 out of 5 eggsEasy and it Works

Pros: Attached straight to the TV, no amplifiers or control box. Clarity better than my cable. TV picked up 27 channels which is a lot better than my previous digital antenna with a control box of only 4-5 channels. About 30 miles as the crow flies from the local stations antennas.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: Might need to try this antenna with the control box.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This thing is amazing. I expected maybe 5 channels and we get over 20. I don't know the exact distance but I am guessing this thing has a range of around 50 miles!

We get all the local channels we were looking for and so many more

Cons: It would be nice if it had a stand or something instead of needing to mount in on the wall. Not a huge deal it just might look a little nicer at least in my situation.

Other Thoughts: I was very skeptical at first that something like this would work. I got it on sale for under $20 and now that I know how well it works I would have gladly paid full price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value - works great

Pros: What a great value - money well worth spent! I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Prior to this, I was rabbit ear style antennas that I bought from an online retailer. Their customer service is very weak - I won't even bother mentioning the name here. The reception on that one was mediocre at best. Every other day I was having to adjusting and re-adjust those stupid rabbit ears to get the best reception. One day a channel would come in fairly well and the very next day that same channel would not come in at all unless I moved the antenna around and adjust the rabbit ears. CONSTANT BATTLE.

Ever since I installed this, all of the major channels come in very clearly and there's nothing I have to do to get the best reception. Even that elusive channel 2 (CBS) that was coming in & out on me all the time is now coming in crystal clear. Since i am in a lower level apartment, I made sure to mount the antenna on the wall right next to the window. Other than that, no other 'tweaking' is necessary.

Prior to buying this, I was actually contemplating buying a MOHU leaf - it's a good thing I checked Newegg's newsletter first because they had a special promotion on this ($12 off). It's the best $20 I ever spent on HDTV antenna and about 3x cheaper than a MOHU leaf to boot.

Cons: Not really a "con" per se, but the co-axial antenna cable that's included with the product is a bit on the short side. If they made it about 3 feet longer, it would be perfect. Still, the antenna has great reception and I definitely got my money's worth. Even if you are a city dweller with high-rise buildings in your area or live in a basement level apartment, it will have no problems pulling in all the major channels.

Other Thoughts: Comes with small little velcro adhesives which you can use to mount to the wall. Or you can use the small little pins (sort of like tiny nails - whatever you want to call it) to mount it.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo side color will match my decor

Pros: This antenna will pickup more channel and look very modern
Coax cable is decent long

Cons: Other than coax cable is little stiff hard to hide or stay flat.

Other Thoughts: It will scan less channel if I place flat again the wall work best in free standing position.

4 out of 5 eggsI am satisfied with it

Pros: Stylish, very easy to install, very good delivery of what it was made for!

Cons: None really - one thing people should notice is that there is no stand for this antenna - it is intended to be pinned to the wall (pins provided) and some velcro double sided adhesive pieces - I like the package, definitely not a con - just something to be aware of

Other Thoughts: I have never used an indoor or outdoor HDTV antenna since I was and still am a cable guy... however, we got a second TV in the bedroom and wanted something besides my chromecast there so we can enjoy some news - especially in the morning when we are getting ready... I live about 37 miles north from Chicago downtown and I was able to get about 30 channels, of which HDTV was about 9-10. Really happy I got local news channels, couple other ones - picture and sound is crystal clear - love this antenna...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well

Pros: Worked very well and had no trouble with installation nor with reception.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As I had posted in the "Why did you purchase this item" it was because my mother missed and wanted to watch tv.

After seeing the shows, in great quality from this antenna, she decided, as I had many years ago, to stop watching tv.

Antenna is great, but choice, quality, and substance of tv shows was horrid. :)

5 out of 5 eggsI'm amazed

Pros: Incredibly easy to set up. Awesome picture.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical about buying this thinking just how good could it be for the price. Hooked the coax to the tv and the antenna, tacked the antenna to the wall and went through the setup with the TV. Found over 30 stations. The major network stations are incredibly clear. So impressed, I'm going to buy a couple more of them.

3 out of 5 eggsNot too bad of an antenna, but...

Pros: Very slick design. I installed by using the round Velcro pads that were included with the antenna. You can't really see it. As far as aesthetics, beats rabbit ears by a long shot.

Cons: Not as good reception as my cheap passive rabbit ears. BUT, good enough.

Other Thoughts: Why three eggs if I am (overall) satisfied? I knew from the beginning this was not going to be as good as rabbit ears because of my extensive knowledge of antennas, and RF wave propagation. HOWEVER, I was WILLING to pay the 17.99 (got a 12.00 instant rebate) because of the slick design, EVEN IF it meant some loss in signal quality. This antenna is being used in my living room and just didn't want an ugly set of cheap rabbit ears there. I am even considering buying an inline amplifier to boost the signal. IF YOU DON'T MIND RABBIT EARS, by all means buy them You can't really beat a cheap set of rabbit ears with one of these paper-thin antennas. That is a fact that you have to know if you are deciding to buy this product. I live in north Fort Worth (TX) and am able to pick up basically all the channels available. Because of that, I would have given this product 4 eggs. The three eggs is because this product is average from a functional perspective. Again, if this is the most important aspect to you, and you do not want to buy a booster, GO WITH CHEAP RABBIT EARS. If you are like me, and care more about not having an eye-sore in your living room, this is not too bad for a "green" reception area (inside the recommended radius). Check the reception in your area. There are plenty websites that can tell you that info.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so great

Pros: Inexpensive, portable, easy set-up, small compact design.

Cons: Weak reception with intermediate distances, interference by people moving in the same room, overall finicky performance.

Other Thoughts: Antennaweb has me at about 25 miles from the signal source. I hoped this would be a cheap means to get some weekend football games. Channel scan found about 8 channels, but only 1channel is in perfect HD (which is 26 miles away). The others are unwatchable as they constantly come in and out of losing signal.
I probably wouldn't recommend this product for distances over 10-15 miles from the broadcast tower.

5 out of 5 eggsYou must buy these

Pros: Bought a couple of these to see if they could do better than my old rabbit-ears. They get better reception and look much better.

Cons: Not-ta

Other Thoughts: Glad I got these, no more adjusting the antenna....and I picked up a few more channels.(now, 30 sumthin channels) Buy these and cut that cable!!!
