Pros: I have used this a lot at work. Like the fine temperature control, plenty of wattage to heat the components, and ease of use.

Cons: Does what it's supposed to.

Pros: Quickly heats up, very precise heating

Cons: Within a year my solder pen came detached around the mid point. The solder pen should be able to withstand the heat produced by itself, in my opinion. Had to order a new pen at fifty bucks. Considering the cost of the unit, not thrilled.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again, but would probably shop around first.

Pros: More than enough power for ROHS doing everything a soldering iron needs to do. Extras include a magnetic switch hidden behind the faceplate to calibrate, lock, and change C/F. So much geeky over engineering, magnets and hidden switches.

Cons: A bit pricey, iron doesn't swap with welder's other pens, requiring only the PES51. If it only was a bit cheaper I'd give it five stars.

Other Thoughts: Picture doesn't include the magnet on a stick. Magnets, how do the work, can't explain that.

Pros: Great soldering iron. Quick leveling of temperature and setting everything up along with usage is very simple. Plus the iron tip comes tined like they should.

Cons: None that I can think of.
