The Acoustimass 16 Series II home entertainment speaker system fills your living space with beautifully reproduced sound from six small modules and a newly engineered Acoustimass module. The white finish blends in to the walls so the sound appears to come from everywhere, just like in real life.
The Acoustimass module has been designed with three downward firing drivers for a bass response that has a clarity and balance unlike anything you've heard before. The sound channel port design lets sharp, short noises be heard clearly while letting long sounds such as thunder or tornadoes rumble to the point you'll be checking to see if everyone is okay.
While the Acoustimass module is the hub of the system, collecting all of the inputs and sending them to the surround and center speakers put you into the center of the action. The Direct/Reflecting cube speaker arrays fill the room with sound by sending out directly and bouncing it off the walls so there is no sweet spot. The rear center channel speaker completes the audio experience such that when someone walks behind someone on screen you'll hear the tip-tap of their shoes all the way across. The center channel is set up horizontally to both keeps dialog centered on-screen and compliment the look of today's flat panel TVs.
