Cons: Lots of cons: 1. the 'subwoofer' is not good. I listen to bass-heavy music (hip/hop), and the sub just doesn't cut it. It's pretty bad below 40hz - just gives a cheap rumble like you'd hear on a $50 system. Very disappointing. At higher frequencies, it resonates well but just sound hollow and not rich and deep (my home system is Bowers & Wilkins, so maybe an unfair comparison).
2. The remote is infrared, not radio frequency like the more expensive bose systems.
3. It's not versatile - it only has analog and optical inputs, so you can't stream music via bluetooth or wifi (Airplay); it has to be physically connected to something (TV, receiver, phone).
4. The sub is kinda big and not very attractive (especially for the crummy sound it puts out)

Other Thoughts: Overall, if you're not an audiophile or if you listen to music without much bass, this system will do, but I wouldn't pay MSRP of $500-600 for it. If you just want to connect it to a TV, it'll look nice and do the job.

Cons: I heard no difference from this and my $150 Klipsch speakers.

Not wall mountable without 1st party hardware.

Subwoofer corners nearly sliced my hand open...

Pros: Good sound from highs to lows. Very compact. Easy to set up. The remote it comes with is awesome.

Cons: Wish it could hit some lower tones.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for decent speakers without breaking the bank, these are awesome. I got an open box deal on these and paid 160$ less than retail price otherwise I wouldn't have gotten these. If you aren't looking to drop a few grand on a home theater these are one of your best options. The sound is very good and I have heard a lot of good speaker systems. Many people knock bose but these were very impressive. I had a 500 dollar energy soundbar and this is much better. More bass range and can fill a larger room with the Bose. Like I said it's no Klipsch or Polk 5.1 setup but for how small these speakers are, they produce some good, clean sound that I think most people will find impressive.

Pros: Good sound

Cons: Wires are large and long. They actually take up more space than the speakers themselves.

Other Thoughts: Place anywhere...as long as the wires will run that far.
