4 out of 5 eggsMadmex2000

Pros: Wow..Sounds loud and not TINY. Pretty decent bass. Loaded 8 gig sd card and inserted. Started playing quickly. Got this to mount on my for rides(used velcro ). Wearing earphones while biking is dangerous. Turns heads on bike trails. Peeps wondering were all the sound is coming from. LOL. This sounds GOOD for its SIZE. Not meant to replace actual FULL size Boomboxes.

Cons: should have bought 2.

Other Thoughts: Gonna buy 2 more for backup while on sale.

4 out of 5 eggsSmall and loud

Pros: Easy to load music to the player through various sources... Small and loud... Can be recharged through portable sources (ie USB hub) as well as the computer itself...

Cons: Jeng's review pretty much covered them...

Would only play for 4 or 5 hours at a time without needing a recharge... Also where I had to have it at 3/4 volume at all times in order to barely hear it...

Newegg needs to drop the price on this by about half for me to buy one from here to compete with the other site... THIS is the only reason for dropping the egg...

Other Thoughts: Even though I didn't buy mine from newegg (found at half price on another site)...this was what I was looking for...

I used this at a Salvetion Army kettle this past kettle season...and I did find a way to hook up the player to the stand (while using a Patriot Christmas tree USB drive) without it falling off...even though it took two days to figure out how I was going to do this...

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy it

Pros: Inexpensive and takes many forms of input

Cons: I have over a thousand songs loaded and I have it set to random, and all it does is play the same 5 songs over and over again. In random mode it plays tracks 14-37-518-956-280 , and then it repeats, over and over. That is not random at all.

Oh, and cannot have it hooked to a powersource if you want to be able to put it to sleep.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Small size, big sound. Can take usb flash drives, micro sd and regular sd cards. Inexpensive. Easy controls

Cons: If you want to set up random you'll have to put all your MP3's in one folder.

Is suppose to remember what file you were on and how far into the song you were when you put it to sleep, but that does not seem to work very well with usb drives, you'll have to unplug the usb drive and plug it back in for it to recognize it after sleep, then it will start at where you left off. Was hoping to hook it to a hard drive in a usb enclosure, but doesn't seem practical if I have to unplug and plug it back in each time I want to listen to it.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for listening to music at work. Will hook up to a powered usb hub since not allowed to hook up something like this to our work computers directly.
