Pros: Sound quality from the speakers is awesome for the price. Love the way it looks..sleek and black. Easy to hook up and the speakes are small enough to hide if you like. If you want bang for your buck this system is for you.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Philips products are a brand name you can trust.

Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Great sound & DVD playback in a sleek package. External stand works well with iPhones as well as iPods.
Cons: One button controls/selects multiple input sources which sometimes forces you to go through 4 or 5 other sources until you reach the one you want to use.
Other Thoughts: Sound quality from the 6 speakers is about 85% as good as my former $1,000 Bose system so for under $200 this is a no-brainer. Have read a few reports of DOA or erratic behavior units but mine has been trouble-free for over a year & years of experience with many other Philips products (including my Sonicare toothbrush) has been good.
