5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME HEAD UNIT!

Pros: I loved everything about this in-dash CD/DVD player. All the functionality of the deck were simple and self explanatory. My favorite thing about this unit was that I could incert a burnt DVD into it with 4.7GB worth of music on it and hardly ever had to change the disc. Another thing I likes about it was that I could hook my phone up to it and listen to music threw my phone and andswe calls threw the stereo.

Cons: The only 2 cons were: Some DVD formats wouldn't play, and the extra peripherals were very pricey.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't purchase another one of these but I would still most likely go with Clarion brand. They make decent competition car audio equipment.

5 out of 5 eggscheap and capable

Pros: Worked as advertised!dvd disks containing mp3s work well. GUI works well via touch screen. easy to navigate nothing to learn before using.

Cons: popped fuse after I hooked up the parking brake signal wire FROM the head unit to a power wire...This is outside of it's manufacturers instructions, but Clarion should not enforce laws; that's the law enforcement' jobs.

Other Thoughts: Haven't figured out the parking brake wire 'hack' to get the dvd video portion working while driving. It is against the law to have it playing a tvideo while driving almost everywhere I guess. When I figure it out, I'll likely post here about it.

5 out of 5 eggsoverall, very good for $300.

Pros: does everything it says it does.

Cons: none really, it could use a removable face plate tho.

Other Thoughts: its a 8 out of 10 on the 1 to 10 scale. 10 being the best of course. the only con is that it sends 4 volts to the amps, then again bad stuff like BOSS or Jensen(both go for around($200) send only 2 volts and good stuff like Alpine or Kenwood ($300-$800) send 4 volts as well. the best of the best is Eclipse with there 5 volt systems but im not dropping $1,200 on a Eclipse head unit.
